1. Do NOT post any personal information.

Such as specific names of people and addresses. This is for security reasons. Please use an alias whenever possible, and please identify that you are using an alias.


2. Refrain from using short-cuts or text-talk.

Because this is a school forum, we encourage users to not use short-cuts or 'text talk' when typing. Such examples are: b4, l8er, 2nite, 3tc. We don't want people's grammar to become horrible just because they're not practicing it outside of school.

2a. We understand that English is not everyone's first language, so we aren't as strict when it comes to certain grammatical errors.


3. Respect others.

We have members that attend various types of schools and are in various types of grades. Please respect others and keep the language clean. Also, we advocate anti-bullying.

3a. The age in which people attend school is an important part of their mentally growing process. Since there will be different people with different backgrounds, culture, preference, etc., we will NOT tolerate hateful remarks towards other members. Such examples are racism, homophobia, religious hatred, sexism, etc.


4. Help others, not do their work for them.

When helping people with their homework, we encourage our members to make sure that they 'help' them figure out the problem, not give away the answers. It would be a disservice to our society if we encourage students to leech off of others.


5. Do not plagiarize.

Plagiarism, stealing other people's work without their permission or proper acknowledging that it is their work, is a serious offence. Not only on Vizzed, but also in the real world. Especially in college, you can get kicked out and lose money you spent on going to college if you plagiarize. Please properly cite your sources if you choose to use them in your homework.
