Hello everyone,

I have been having problems retrieving my save states lately. I save using F2 and load using F4, just as in the instructions. The problem is that lately it randomly doesn't work anymore. When I want to return to my save state by pressing F4, nothing happens. I'm playing Pokémon Emerald on GBA.
There are *.sav files in my user folder, so that cannot be the issue. Whenever I save I usually try to see if it worked by walking a few steps to the side and then press F4 again, which has never failed me so far. But when I go back to the site for playing again, F4 doesn't seem to do anything. I had that problem two weeks ago already, and then it suddenly worked again - now it suddenly does not work anymore. I don't know what to do and frankly, I'm losing my patience. Is there any way I can keep that from happening? What can I do to get my game back?

duebeldiva : if you are using a laptop you have to hold down fn with F2 and F4 and F6 to use those functions

UFC : I tried that too, but it didn't work either. It used to work without the fn keys too.

duebeldiva : are you using the RGR plugin? you need to use that as well not the other emulator. If that's not the problem i suggest uninstall the plugin and reinstall and then try it.
