Golden Axe - III
I remember this game when I was younger and I have to say, I have gotten better than the last few years.
The Graphics were excellent for its time and are still fairly decent even today.
The sounds were okay but were fairly decent, better than an average retro game you can still play today.
Overall the sound was good and the music was enjoyable for players like me and maybe for people who don't play any games.
The game was really addictive, it will keep you playing and wonder when you will get to the final boss and what the ending will be like or what the next boss will look like.
The story was original and neat, simple for an fantasy game based on an adventure, to defeat an evil prince and safe the world from destruction, which is very enjoyable if you are looking for a game that is atleast decent.
The Depth was average, the game is 50 minutes long but is hard to play, especially when fighting the fourth bosses (in the forest mission which you don't have to go to.)
It had so much to offer, like riding the beasts and them changing as you go through the maps, my favorite part was on the cart in the first mission.
The game had so much suspense, when you have your last life and the boss is too hard, or when you are about to complete the game.
The two new characters who were playable were very enjoyable to play as and were given different fighting styles.
The Difficulty was hard depending on how you play the game and the controls you choose, the game is hard to play on emulator but not on consoles and etc.
In my point of view the difficult was easy to hard, because all the stages had enemies which improved in bettter armor and better fighting styles which was frustrating for players who just started the game.
For much more experienced players the game will be an easier type of normal, which will give them the advantage of completing the games in less than an hour.
Overral I give the game an 8/10, since it was one of my favorite SEGA games I have ever played, along with the Shining Force series which is fairly famous for its fighting style.
Golden Axe is a true SEGA game which will be remembered by those who have played it.
