Hello everybody, am back with these kinds again with my threads. I don't know if a thread like this is made if it is then please close it. The topic for today is.....what type of music gives you that feel and makes you break down into tears.....mine is *2pac changes* its a very good song but, for me its a reminder about my family and such. When I listen to it my mind will wonder again about. To do with things in life each lyric that was made into this song and the words too, it makes me to be sad in a way it is a really awesome song there are more songs like that but, that one just did it for me....on netplay in general chat we were talking, and then it went from soundtracks to music like this.....*changes* still gives me the chills when I listen to it.....I guess I remembered why I stopped listening to it......so whats yours? And please explain that feeling it gives to you.....

Well me being the person that I am ...... I don't cry . Even if it good for me . But I will get close to crying . Once when I found this thing on youtube  ..... you know . The one I showed you Enii . Yeah I felt happy and sad at the same time  

Emotional music? For me it would have to be Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan by Nightwish. I'll admit, I have no idea what she's saying, but it's really sad and touching.

I don't listen to emotional music. I'm training myself to not feel emotional pain.

Eniitan : Well, Not by an artist really but. When I hear the oceant mar Music from Magi nation it kinda makes me depressed because it reminda me of a friend who left vizzed.

"When I'm Gone", by Eminem. This is the song where I came closest to crying about a song.

Two songs that get me to feel a lot are The Christmas Shoes and The House that Built Me.  The first one is about a boy who wants to get some shoes for his mom, but doesn't have the money, so he turns to a stranger to ask him for the money to buy the shoes.  It's a really touching and emotional song.  The second one is a favorite of my mom's.  It reminds me of the house she wanted when I was growing up, but that we couldn't afford.  Some day if I hit it big I want to get that house for her.  It would really make her day.

All music I listen to raises some kinds of emotions in me. That is why I listen to music. Even elevator music brings up an emotion in me: annoyance.

SadSecrets : That's too bad you don't want to experience one of the few things that sets us all apart from each other.  Emotional pain and sadness are powerful tools that can be life-changing.

There's nothing wrong with negative emotions and you won't be able to deal with life altering events effectively if you don't allow yourself to experience pain.

To be honest, I am not really one to get really emotionally attached to songs and feel sadness. I have nothing against having these emotions, but I just can't really connect them with a song, but I think that fix you by coldplay puts me in a state of sadness. If you listen to it, I am sure you will get the same feeling. The way it sounds and the lyrics are kind of touching.

I only get this way with a few songs, this is one of them and I am listening to it now while making this post.

Good question by the way. I think someone like my mom would probably be more emotionally connected to music than me though.

Quite a few of Taylor Swift's songs make me tear up, whether they're happy tears or not. One song of her's however that get's to me every single time is "All Too Well". It's just such a beautifully written, emotional song that I always tear up when I listen to it. 

After my dad decided to pin me to the fridge and grab me by the collar of my shirt and leave a ring around it for 48 hours, I listened to 3 songs a lot:
