...Alright due to popular demand i am finally going to review magikarp...ugh my god i really wish i could just review Gyarados but due to the rules i made i must review the pokemon that came before it,IF the pokemon is obtained by leveling or possibly a stone,so lets get this done so we can finally get to Gyarados

P,S i am going to misspell Gyarados ALOT deal with it

Moveset

Tackle,15:now we have something that can actually do damage,this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy,decent move but man its not going to work for this pokemon...

FINALLY at level 20 we get one of my ultimate nostalgic pokemon And my god i used this pokemon ALOT in the days of red blue and yellow,i especially used it in battles against my friends,so much that no one wanted to play against me...EVER

Bite,20:alright this Agent of awesomeness gets bite,a decent dark type move with a base attack damage of 60 and has 100% accuracy,also this move has a 10% chance of making the target flinch,finally...we can KILL

Dragon rage,23:This move has a base attack damage of...nothing,no matter what this move will always deduct 40 hp from the target also this move has 100% accuracy,pretty good move for now but after level 30 i promise you it wont be that effective anymore so...enjoy this while you can

Leer,26:this move lowers the targets defense by 1 stage...ha ha ha ha HA HA HA-

Twister,29: This dragon type move has a base attack damage of 40 and has a 20% chance of making the target flinch,also this move has 100% accuracy,this move is REALLY lacking but by the time you learn it dragon rage is not going to be that effective anymore so...take it if you want but its not going to be your strongest move

Ice fang,32: this move has a base attack damage of 65 and has 95% accuracy,also this move has a 10% chance of freezing the target,great move take it done

Aqua Tail,35: now we have Gyarados 3rd most powerful move,this move has a base attack damage of 90 also this move has 90% accuracy,One of Gyarados better moves,take it done

Rain Dance,38:this move will increase water type moves damage output by 50% also this move will last for 5 turns,this is a pretty great move but use it wisely,do not give the enemy a buff

Hydro pump,41:This is Gyarados,2nd most powerful move,this move has a base attack damage of 120 and has 80% accuracy and...thats it,great move take it if you want i dont like it though,once again use it sparingly

Dragon dance,44:Now we have the move the competitive community loves,this move raises users attack stat and speed stat by 1 stage,great move use it wisely

Hyper beam,47:This move has a base attack damage of 150 and has 90% accuracy but this requires the user to wait a turn after you use this move,great move one of the best in this things set but use it wisely and sparingly


Stats

HP,95: Very good stat this will allow you to take a few hits when your defense stat is falling down,also this will alow Gyarados to survive enough for you to switch out or heal it

Attack,125: This baby's attack is INSANE you can one hit things SO easily if you have a good set even some of its weakest moves like twister can do alot of damage because of this stat

Defense,79:Yeah...this is where the Hp stat comes in,Gyarados defense is very easy to break through so be prepared for this stat

Special atk,60: i REALLY wish this stat was a bit higher because your going to need those special attack moves so...this is a pretty bad stat

Special def,100: AH much better when all else fails this stat will not,you can take So many special attack blows from pokemon that it will be insane so..not much else to say except that this is a good stat

Speed,81: Man..this could use some polish,its not really bad but it could be alot better,basically its like getting a C on a test,you could do better but screw it its alright

Leveling...my god its going to take a LONG LONG LONG time to get to Gyarados and game freak made it that way so that you had to work for this pokemon,luckily once you do get Gyarados it stops taking for ever to level so..i really hope you can fight through the grind

Oh this pokemon is SO lucky,its only has 2 weaknesses rock and electric,no both of those are common but still you guys have to give it credit for only having 2,so this gets a pass

Earthquake:This move is here to destroy electric type pokemon so..thats it

Ice beam: this move is here to get rid of rock types

Surf: this move is here to be your main attack move,its not used for any specific pokemon its just used to cut pokemon down

Stone edge: i will admit stone edge is here for no reason at all i just found it useful sometimes,really you can replace it with any other move if you want


Gyms Rival and Elite 4

Gyms: this guy is pretty good in gyms..i mean it i have no major gripes with this pokemon in gyms at all it should be pretty easy to tell you the truth,but still things can always go wrong at any time,so keep a back up team ready

Rival : Same thing with your rival really,and still as far as i know not many rivals have rock or electric type pokemon so...i guess you wont have much of a problem

ugh...you already know what i think of trainers when i am reviewing decent pokemon,now just imagine what i think of them now...

Elite 4:now should you take this pokemon to the elite 4....YEAH go ahead this thing is a great pokemon to take to the elite 4 even now it stands tall as a worthy pokemon to fight alongside you and its fellow party members to the elite 4


Tips

1.Give this thing an exp share when leveling or just grind with the switch in switch out tactic

2.If you are grinding to get a gyarados and you are using an emulater use the SPEED UP OPTION

3.Despite what you may think a healing item like leftovers is not good for this pokemon,if anything give it an item that heals Alot of health in one burst,not an item that heals slowly

Final thoughts:Well...someone has aged well,i mean it this pokemon is great even now its awesome,it has a pretty good moveset,odd yet still effective stats,great tms and hms,and its great against the a.i,i never thought this pokemon would be this good today,i have only one major gripe with this pokemon and thats its stats,it just needed a little bit more polish and it would have been a GREAT pokemon one of the best i have reviewed but sadly its stats are not all that great,still this is a pretty good pokemon and i recommend you take it (if you can get past the extreme training that is) also i am giving this pokemon a Agent of Awesomeness badge for still being a great pokemon even now

Fun fact: Despite what you guys may think this review is for IN GAME ONLY so everyone who keeps talking about STAB moves and whatever mumbo jumbo you guys talk about just quit it already i dont even like multiplayer its to slow and boring i would rather fill my pokedex or trade forever...wait as a matter of fact keep complaining all your doing is giving me more vizzed,YEAH KEEP COMPLAINING GO AHEAD KEEP AT IT

I liked the review. But why did you review Gyarados' moves also? You are reviewing magicarp right? So why review Gyarados' moves? I just think that you really didn't need to give your ideas about Gyarados' moves. You should've just reviewed his moves on your next review where Gyarados would be your topic.

But I think every thing else was a good job. Next time, don't review the evolved pokemon's attacks if you're reviewing the basic state of the pokemon. Just saying, but if you really want to do that, its okay by me.. But I don't know about the other's opinions.

Overall, this still needs some more polishing and by that I mean editing. Good Luck on Gyarados.

D'Zed : Well the reason i reviewed Gyarados along with Magikarp is because Gyarados is technically apart of Magikarp in fact...is this the first time you noticed this?,anyway the point is that there the same,basically i think of all evolutionary pokemon as just the first pokemon reincarnated,so i guess i have to review it,the only time i will not review a pokemon that is related to the first pokemon is

A. It evolves by stone (i have made some exceptions from time to time)

b.It evolves by stat such as happiness or some other stat

c.If the pokemon evolves by a trade

So that's why i reviewed Gyarados along with Magikarp
