Bit.Trip. Complete for the Wii is a well-made compilation of all of the released Bit.Trip games on the WiiWare. This includes all six titles:

Bit.Trip Beat
Bit.Trip Core
Bit.Trip Void
Bit.Trip Runner
Bit.Trip Fate
Bit.Trip Flux

For a detailed review of each game, visit that game's page. Here, I will review the aspects of the collection.
The menu is presented simply enough and allows you to choose from one of the six games in order of their release. Beat and Flux start and finish the series as paddle-style games. Core is the shooter that's not a shooter, Void allows total freedom of movement around the screen, Runner is a side-scroller, and Fate is a 3rd person shooter.?

Each game is loaded with 20 all new challenges exclusive to this collection. These present new depth to each game and can also provide practice due to the variety of the challenges. Each challenge only take a few moments if done correctly, but can be quite difficult to master.?
Completing the games themselves and a certain number of challenges in each game unlocks more material about the game like music, videos, and letters from the developers. Not all of the challenges are immediately available, though, forcing you to the first few challenges first, and continuing to unlock more.?

The new unlockables and challenges add plenty of depth to these already addictive games. However, the games themselves are not inherently deep. That is not to say it will not take you a good while to complete this collection, though, since these games can be VERY HARD. Especially Bit.Trip Runner. I did not complete that game's final level until just recently, after owning the game for over a year.?
The depth of each game and addictiveness is really what the player makes of it. Will you play Bit Trip Beat or Flux again and again just to try and reach new modes? It can be quite exciting to do so, since each mode adds more variety to the music and artwork.?

The final new feature to this collection is the option to change difficulty. Normal mode will play just like the original WiiWare releases, but you can also select Easy or Hard in each game to either help yourself or get more of a challenge if you've mastered the game before. In Runner, for example, Gold is no longer necessary in Easy mode, but in Hard mode it is impossible to complete a level without every last Gold Bar.?

Since the highlight of the series is addictive, fun gameplay coupled with great music, the graphics were not the developers' priority. Each game is still bright and colorful, but the idea is for each to have and old school feeling. Each game also revolves around it's soundtrack. Missing ?a beat/obstacle in one of the games will result in a pause in the music, allowing you to be fully involved in the soundtrack. Can't get enough of the bit music? This collection goes as far as to even include a soundtrack with highlights from all six games of the series.?

Overall, this is quite a solid collection of games, and it is also a great compilation for those who might only own a few titles on WiiWare. If you already own all of the individual titles, though, the challenges and unlockables may not be enough to warrant this purchase. But if you are willing to play them all again, the increased difficulty mode might make this title more enticing. This gives you all six games for the price of just a few and is packed with extras and unlockable content. It's always nice to have games that are meant for just pure fun and entertainment. For those who wish there are even high score tables so you can always try to beat your score.?
