Did you know that if you reach the defense satellite form Sector Z that Star Wolf will appear and give you trouble?
He'll also appear there if you fail to shoot him down at Fincha (Fourtuna). It's funny in my opinion because Fox
will say "Star Wolf again? why now!?!?" it's like he's so ticked off.

I wonder what Wolf must be thinking after hearing those words.

 

Wasn't Star Wolf hired by Andross to stop Star Fox? Perhaps my memory of 64 is fuzzy, but considering Star Wolf also and always stops you if you reach Venom on the hard path regardless of whether you fought him on Fichina or not.

I never unintentionally reached the defense satellite once I got good at the alternate routes for the other levels, and anytime I went there was intentionally choosing my route to go there. I always fought Star Wolf there because I avoid Fichina like the plague on my scoring runs. (I believe it's possible to choose your route after completing a level to an "easier" route if you take the level's harder exit, making it possible to take the Sector X warp and still go to Macbeth or Titania instead of being forced to go to Sector Z, if I remember the map layout right.)

I just think Wolf's out there to do his job. Insults come with the territory. It's to be expected. And it's not like the two have had any bonding time, either. This IS Wolf's first appearance, after all.
