Divine Aurora : It's only the first gen. Plus you can't say the newer series is all that bad I mean it's still good, just many people are nostalgia blinded. Also there was a second gen based series of special episodes, the chronicles of thunder.

iN008 : Story wise generation 5 has by far the most creative and interesting and captivating story but the Pokemon in generation 5  just flat out suck and are not to creative. Tails the Fox : It was vaguely based, by characters, it was a story about Raikou, team rocket captured it and used it, I can't remember the full details but I know Eusigene (the weird guy with the cape and suicune fetish) was in it.

iN008 : :3 fail summon hehe and I agree (I have to give credit where it's due), some of the Pokemon were creative and very cool and appealing (looks wise) but I feel as though the creators put more thought into the small amount of legendary Pokemon there was  rather than the regular average Pokemon.

Divine Aurora : I couldn't care less for the legendaries, the only real legendary I've found cool from the past two generations was Darkrai. I was talking more about the regular pokemon such as Archeops, Galvantula, Sawsbuck and Braviary. It was only because of the few that were uninspired that older fans just flocked to say it was bad. I mean nobody complains about all the plain pokemon of the second gen such as Mareep and Ledyba which are literally unchanged from their RL equivalent.

Looks interesting. Nothing I'm stoked about, but definitely something to watch. As of the trailer of this, the current, running gen 5 anime looks a little better. (Yes, I watch the modern anime.) Although, the fact this is gen 1 really does excite me. I'd be happy to watch it.
