I got a job with an office supply store who delivers things like desks, copiers, shredders, and anything that is big that you would see in an office. I got a job working in the storage area. I basically pack trucks up with boxes, then drive them places in the area that has ordered them, and then install it for them. I'm just really happy because this is my first job, and I really enjoy. It is hard physical labour, but I'm doing fine. Unfortunately, I am basically on a contract, so my time ends in about a week, but it is good the have the experience. If I'm lucky, then hopefully they will hire me again for the next summer. There are not a lot of guys working in the back, so I'd be more than happy to help out.

I just finished my first day today, and I thought it went pretty well. Just thought I would share this with my friends on Vizzed.

MoblinGardens : So do you get pay for this job, or are you basically just an intern? Aside from that, I hope you have fun with this. A first job can be pretty hard to pull off, but if you work hard, it'll work out just fine. Is your boss nice? 

PixelBrick : Yes, I am getting paid and my boss is a really nice person too. We were running out of things to do cause we had all the trucks loaded up and all the deliveries for the day made, so we were just cleaning some things up, and she came into the bay to make sure we weren't bored XD

Nice man, I am glad to hear you are happy and now employed. Now you can finally buy some more stuff on Steam and make my whopping collection of three games look like nothing. ~ Kyle

Sounds quite nice. I hope you get the job again later. You sound like you're having fun. That's good! It's awesome to legitimately enjoy a job while working. It's rare to see that nowadays.

nice job, how much do you get paid an hour? That job sounds like fun, I wish I could do it but I don't have a driver's license. 

DittoDude44 : I get paid $11 an hour (Canadian) and I do have my drivers licence, but I don't drive the truck XD.
