STORY 6
   The story of this game was very disappointing especially for a Metal Gear game as the story just drones on, never really giving you no real suspension or determination to know more of what's going on in the game. Though the story was not completely terrible as the it was mainly Raiden wanting revenge against a terrorist group of Desperado and a very skilled Brazilian swordsman. The game starts off with Raiden being a bodyguard for the prime minister of Africa and goes from there. There is even a couple of characters from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots make an appearance like the Gekko. This is why I rated the game a 6.

GRAPHICS 10
   The graphics of Metal Gear Rising was very impressive especially in Blade Mode when you cut your enemies into a hundred pieces you see all of them flying all over the place. The cut-scenes in the game were pretty good especially before you engage in combat with a boss. For a fast pace action game the graphics couldn't been better. I gave the graphics a 10.

SOUND 10

    The sound quality of this game was pretty good you can hear every single slash and cut you make with your high-frequency sword. Even in combat you can hear your enemies swearing or moaning if you injured them. Even though this is not much of a stealth game sound does play an important part of it as you try to listen for sounds of your enemies in your surrounding if you didn't notice them before. The sound is good enough that you can easily tell if an enemy is near or far. I gave this a 10.
ADDICTIVENESS 10

     This is game you could play over and over again especially if your trying to collect all of the hidden items in it like VR missions or if your trying to achieve certain items like different swords or costumes. You can easily spend hours on playing this game trying to beat your high score, battle bosses over again, or simply if you love to cut, slash, and zandatsu(take their spines or energy to replenish your own) your enemies again.You can even spend hours not trying to get caught or exposed like a normal Metal Gear game. I rated this a 10.

DEPTH 10
   The depth of Metal Gear Rising is far most excellent as it allows to cut your surrounding area just for fun or if you want to use that as a strategy by cutting environmental objects and let them fall to your foes. The entire game is elaborate but not too long though as there is 8 chapters to play through each providing at least an hour or two to beat it. Not only that but if you want to get into the story of two other characters there are two DLC providing an hour or two for each one. The main story isn't the only thing to play either there's another option to play 30 different VR missions many of which are hard to beat and completing many to all of them awards you costumes and swords all giving different effects. I rated this 10.
DIFFICULTY 8
   The difficultly does become harder and harder for each chapter you complete. If your a hardcore gamer and really put your skills to the test you can play in Revengeance mode which is extremely hard to complete as one hit from the easiest foe can take away half your life. When you fight the bosses the first time every boss have a trick or two up there sleeve that make the battle against them no easy task. The controls and fighting of the game must be thought out as you don't want to leave your guard open and use Blade Mode at the right time. Though it is not too difficult that it makes you frustrated and makes you want to flip the controller and punch the television. 
OVERALL 9.6
   The overall game was amazing to play and experience. Everything is was great from the sound to the difficulty the only flaw to it was the story  if the story was any better the overall would have been better but it wasn't. For a spin-off Platinum Games did a pretty good job. I would recommend this game to anyone which is why I give it an overall 9.6.
