Hello, this is my second review on Vizzed, and this one is of Super Mario Bros. 3. Enjoy the review.

Story:7.6/10

In a peaceful day in the Mushroom Kingdom, there is an attack lead by Bowser! (Like that totally hasn't happened yet) But Bowser does not kidnap Princess Toadstool, like he usually does. He turns the kings of the eight realms into unusual creatures! Princess Peach/Toadstool assigns the job to Mario to save the day as usual. The wands that the Koopalings drop when defeated will turn the king(s) back to normal. It was all too easy... until... at the sum of World 7, when all ends to World 8, Bowser kidnaps the Princess. And as usual, he is kind enough to just tell us by sending a note! Now it's your job to save the kings, and also your own girlfriend! (Irony of Nintendo) But many levels prevent you from this easy task...

Depth:8.9/10

The depth is great for a Nintendo NES game! First off, we have a LOT of new power-ups introduced. First of all, we have the cloud that lets you float over one level on the map. Peach usually sends them when she sends one item to you in letters when you beat a world. We also have the Tanooki Suit, which looks like a Bear, and you can fly with it, and turn into stone by holding B so monsters won't notice you. Next, Nintendo introduced the Leaf. It gives you a Raccoon type suit, which enables you to fly for a certain amount of time. (Like the Tanooki) You can knock out enemies by just pressing B (if you're playing the original game that's not on Vizzed) to use the spin attack. Next, this game has the P Wing, which is a Leaf suit, except it enables infinite fly mode for one level, and it wears off, and turns into a regular Leaf suit after the level is complete. The Frog suit allows you to swim a lot more straight and smooth, and you CANNOT go in run mode with this power-up due to the fact that you just bounce when you move around. You can also jump higher with the Frog suit than you would do with any other power-up. The Hammer suit was a big thing in the game. It gave you a Hammer Bro suit which lets you release hammers to demolish monsters. Last... I think, we have the whistle. These are found in secret parts of the worlds. If you blow on it by equipping it, you will have the option to warp to levels 2-4 if used in World 1. If you blow one toot, there's no going back!  And of course, the other power-ups are from the other Mario games. This game was well thought out and programmed by the developers, in my opinion. The game has levels that are sometimes challenging or very simple. (SHOUT OUT:ON EACH WORLD, THERE IS ONE LEVEL WHERE YOU HAVE TO COLLECT ALL THE COINS YOU CAN TO UNLOCK A SPECIAL MUSHROOM HOUSE! THREE OF THEM GIVE YOU AN ANCHOR, WHICH IS USED FOR STOPPING THE AIRSHIP FROM FLYING AROUND ALL OVER THE LEVEL) The card game is unlocked by...well, no one knows. But if you match two items in the card game, you get to keep that item in your item inventory. The spade slot game is where you put the three pieces to create a power-up. Stars are worth 5 lives, Fire Flowers are 3 lives, and Mushrooms are 2 lives. If you get one match, you will get the Hearts slot game, which adds a power-up match that is worth more lives. Then you continue the cycle if you win on the Heart. And at every level of the game, there is a card. It switches between Fire Flower, Mushroom, and Star. If you get three stars in a row, (SAME LIFE REWARDS AS SLOT GAME)

Sound:4.4/10

The sound from this game isn't all that great. Sometimes it just is ear-bleeding. If someone made a rumor saying younglings suicide from their sensitive hearing to this game's audio, I would actually believe it. I know I'm a Retro guy, but this just is...no. I don't really like the music that much, but the sound effects aren't THAT BAD. BUT, just because the audio isn't that great, it doesn't mean this game isn't worth trying. The sound effects contain sounds from the original Mario Bros. game. This is probably not false, because this is the third game of the whole Mario saga. And for a third game, Nintendo did an outstanding job...anyway, the music sometimes isn't that great, but the game is still worth it.

Difficulty:9.1/10

The difficulty for this game isn't that bad. Not too easy, not too hard. I'd say the difficulty is moderate. There's still some parts of the game that tend to get challenging, but overall, the difficulty when you start out... is one of the easiest parts of a Nintendo game...ever. It would be hard to play on a keyboard on Vizzed, unless you play with a controller, but either way, this game is just...a game that has a legitimate difficulty. It's good for any age of a gamer, and that's all I really have to say about the difficulty.

Graphics:9.9/10

I'm the kind of guy who likes classic and vintage video games, so that's why I'd give it this rating. This game's graphics really stood up to me. I don't know about most of you people, but these graphics gave me major nostalgia. I wish these games were still in store. (Well I guess the FBI would shut down Vizzed, so I don't really wish that much) I think you guys will like the graphics from the Game Boy Advanced version that was made of this game. They REALLY did change the graphics, and I like the new ones too. It was a major upgrade for the fact that it took them a while for them to just DECIDE to remake an NES game into an SNES game, then into a GBA game...well I guess the GBA edition is basically the same thing as the SNES version. So by  looking at the GBa version, I mean the SNES version. It has the graphics that most SNES games would have.

Addictiveness:9.5/10 <------- Is that even a real word?

I'd rate it a 9.5/10 because this is a game that you wouldn't want to stop playing. Sure, it's kind of boring at first, but when you get deeper into this game, it really makes you want to play it all the time. It's nice that Nintendo made this a project that kids or gamers all games can enjoy. Thank you, Nintendo!

Overall:9.7/10

As I have described this game, you can tell I LOVE this game. But, there's SOME cons about the game, so I would jut rate it three of of the maximum rate. xD Thank you for reading this review! I put a lot of work into this one. Thanks for the support, Vizzed! And good luck!

Guide:

Alright! Since I ended off my last review (Review of Mario And Luigi Superstar Saga) with a guide that I've thought up, I decided to do one for this game. It won't be as long as the other one, but it'll do for beginners!

On the fourth level of the very game, it is a coin collect challenge. The blue toad house the spawns will grant you with a P Wing. Make sure to use these wisely.

There's several ways the cards can be set on the item card game. Most of them are just a Fire Flower in the first card of the grid, and three cards to it's right is another Fire Flower card. And most of them have a Star on the last card of the grid. If you lose your four card flips on a tun, the grid will auto-save, so you can continue on the same set until you finish it to snag all the items.

There's a small chance of a small airship spawning on the map. Go to the tile it's floating above, and the airship will hold a bunch of coins. The boss at the end is two Boomerang Bros.

On the maps, there are Hammer Bros. If you touch one, then you are forced to fight it. If you kill it, you will be given a chest with an item. The items don't ever change. They always give the same thing. (Example, the Fireball Bros from World 2 will always drop a whistle)

About the mentioned Fireball Bros, here is a power-up I yet forgot to mention...the Hammer. If you stand next to it on the map and use the hammer, it will break a rock. On World 2, one of the Hammer Bros will drop a Hammer. There's a rock on the right hand side of the whole world map. Break it to reveal a Mushroom house that gives a Frog suit, and two Fireball Bros that you fight to get a free whistle.

On World 3, there is another secret to be revealed. On the right side of the world map, there is a rock that is so obvious, it cannot be missed. Break it with a hammer you get from one of the Hammer Bros in World 3 to discover a boat. Mount on the boat, and you can swim to three Mushroom houses, plus two slot games. And also a sneak peak at where the last level of World 3 is going to be.

Use a P Wing on the last level to dodge the flames from the Bowser statues, and Bowser's flames, and to reveal a secret path to an alternate Bowser Boss that's 10x easier than the original.

Some of the levels on World 4 have a special coin secret at the end of each level. Where the panel is at the end of the levels, there is an array of coins that can be accessed with a power-up that can fly. You will press a P switch, and drop down a bunch of blue coins.

On the level on World 8 with the red water, jump in the water to basically cheat the whole level by swimming under the ships.

On World 8 on the Bullet Bill battlefield, be sure to equip a Star before entering. You'll see why if you play the level.

On World 4, the level with all the red Bullet Bills contains a Tanooki suit in a hidden block that is accessed by a secret vine.

On World 3, with the two levels with the big fish that eats you, equip a Star or a Fire Flower for protection. The second big fish level is the big coin challenge level of World 3.

Hello, this is my second review on Vizzed, and this one is of Super Mario Bros. 3. Enjoy the review.

Magma_Cube : Honestly, that's a fail attempt to get the Green jersey. You're just pasting that message on every review you find. And look at that! It's 30+ words. This is why TDV is really getting out  of hand.
