It may be a bit out of date with the game being a few years old, and the new chapter being announced for next year, but how often do you play Smash Bros Brawl online? If I had wifi, I'd play it often. But I don't.

I have never actually played online. But, then again, I have never owned it on the Wii. I always just play locally with my friends when ever they brought their copy over. 

I don't usually go online. Part of it is because it takes a long time to join a session, but once I get in, it usually runs smoothly. And I'm not all that good on wifi, so I prefer local play. But I do like going online and just taunting people without actually attacking.

I don't really get online in Brawl anymore it always lags no matter how close they are and it disturbs the matches which can result in a easy loss or win depending on who is getting the most lag.

it's good I play brawl at first I play sonic at video game circuit at Toronto Harbour Game play I died as sonic the hedgehog well i need to learned how to use wii  control I never buy wii or online because I play the brawl at Albion  public  Library Stewart and  Mavern it's fun i use smash attacks and specials i picked mario inferno blast donkey kong drum beat link triforce attack luigi exotic dance ganondorf ganon diddy kong jet pack snake sniper and last but at least bowser giga Bowser is the best I picked donkey kong second best picked luigi third best picked and ganondorf is final best picked.

I NEVER play Smash bros online, because every time I tried, there was anybody connected, and I have to stay 5 minutes alone hitting the sandbag until I get bored and I go out :/

We have really slow internet here. Our internet provider's higher options are SERIOUSLY, VERY?expensive.

Even if I have slow internet, they should really fix the netcode, especially since the new Smash is already being made...

Very few times I ever played online for brawl due to its in-despicable lag.

Earlier this year, I was playing it online almost every day. But now, I only play it online maybe once every month or two. I'd probably go online more if I actually played the game more.

How often do I play Brawl online?, Well I never play it online because I'm just not that passionate about the game and I don't care about the game that much at all.

I play brawl now and then but I don't too much because some of the people on there are ridiculously good at the game. Like that's all they do so they know all the little secrets and its just unfair

I don't play the game online at all because I think the online system is jacked. It has been from the get-go. This is also a problem of the Wii, since you had to put in a ridiculously long code already, but then adding to the Brawl code just to get your friends to play is just silly. And you can't tell me that they couldn't have done a decent job with it, as the original X-Box's online wasn't terrible, and by the time Brawl came out, Xbox and PS3 had online support with their games (such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare) having decent leveling systems and upgrades themselves. Whatever they did with Brawl was silly. The servers were terrible (THE LAG was terrible) and the fact that you could only play two minutes per game made it underwhelming. Mario Kart Wii was the best online Wii game I played; I would play it all the time and it wasn't exactly perfect. But they could have at least given Brawl's online a decent attempt rather pumping it up to be something great, then totally under-delivering on their product. I'm hoping that the next Super Smash Brothers is better, with the possibility of DLC. I know I would pay for extra characters if they could pull it off, and I'm sure that other would as well. Let's hope they do it.

I still own Brawl & I play online frequently.





I find it fun & enjoyable to be able to vs online and the different modes were fun too





Vs Anyone Mode


This mode is quite enjoyable besides the occasional lagger and the occasional hacker, by hacker I mean coming out as freaking Wario Final Smash at the beginning of the match OR coming out as Giga Bowser x.x completely ridiculous at times especially when they were getting their butts kicked, the Vs Anyone Team matches are fun when you got a player who isn't an absolute NOOB





Vs Friends Mode


The Team Multi-Man Melee part is very fun to do. The Brawl aspect of it is exactly like the offline Brawl battles, its a very fun mode and enjoyable on many levels of fun

And about the FC codes....... the only reason to swap "Wii" FC codes is to enable Picture OR Video swapping on SSBB, other then that "Wii" FC code sharing is useless and not very effective... now you do gotta swap different FC codes which I'll call SSBB FC Codes to use Vs Friends Mode but thankfully the codes are shorter then the "Wii" FC Codes. You DO NOT need to swap ANY SSBB FC Codes to use Vs Anyone Mode OR its counter part VS Anyone Team Mode

Yeah I don't really go online that much mainly because it takes forever before you actually join a session and start playing and a lot of the times while playing, it really lags a lot and it makes it hard to enjoy while brawling, so I really don't go online much to be honest. I used to go online a lot more often before, but no so much now because it just isn't as much fun because it simply takes too long and lags too much. I like the vs anyone mode, but again the lag kind of ruins the experience a bit for me so that is part of the reason why I don't play it as much now as I used to. 


pray75 : I agree with you completely on the fact that mario kart was the best game to play online, it was a lot of fun and I played it all the time, doing either a wi-fi battle or race, it was still a lot of fun. Of course there were always annoying hackers every now and then but it was still fun. 

pacman1755 : Almost never, you have to organize it beforehand, otherwise you won't be able to easily find people. It also has latency issues. I like the concept, but Nintendo did not quite deliver on the service.

Heres some advice on Vs Anyone for those who rage quit after everyone ganging up on them

DO NOT GO CRAZY TRYING TO KILL EVERYONE

Observe the room, watch & see if ppl are fighting, most times ppl are goofing off & being silly so if you try & attack everyone you'll get ganged up.
