BLARG!!!A Despicable Me 2 Movie Review, by thing1 Alright, so let me start off by saying this: BLARG!!! XD I loved that part. That was all the evil purple minions said. That... and they stuck their tongue out a lot. It was hilarious. The story line was very interesting. Some parts who just so... out there, it was ridiculous. But the movie was awesome. I loved it.
Here is my review:
Cinematography: 8 out of 10.
They were pretty good for a cartoon movie. Honestly, they were about the same as the first one, but, I mean, Come on? What are you going to do in a few years with cartoon movies graphics? Right? I give it a 8 out of 10.
Sound: 10 out of 10.
The sound was great. The lines were perfect. The characters were casted and voiced amazingly well. I loved it. All I can really say about this is... BLARG!!!
Re-watch-ability: 6 out of 10.
To be honest, I loved this movie. But this is one of those that if you watch too much, you will hate it. So, I might be able to watch the thing about 4 or 5 more times before it gets old.
Depth: 8 out of 10.
Surprisingly, there were so many story lines going. The oldest girl falls for a boy ( the son of the villain in the movie.. .Which she never finds out ), only to be heart broken at the party they are invited to. You had Gru trying to catch the villain, and the agency grabs the wrong guy, and then he gets the guy... Really, that one was good. And then there is this woman that keeps trying to hook Gru up? Ugh. That was almost unbearable. Gru eventually gets with his "partner"... there is more, but I won't spoil anything for anybody that still plans on seeing the movie that has not see in yet.
Story: 9 out of 10.
This movie was awesome. There was so much going on. You had the minions... of course. You had Gru being the middle man in so many games of match-maker. XD It was hilarious. Only reason it doesn't get a perfect 10 out of 10 is because there were not enough Minions moments. :'(
Audience: 10 out of 10.
This movie is G rated material. I am not sure if it is actually PG or G; I believe it is G. The movie is family friendly. Even teaches kids a few life lessons if the parents are looking into the movie enough to get it and point it out to their little ones. There are a few action scenes to keep it interesting... A romance angle going. Really... for a cartoon movie, it has everything going for it. Great job, creators.
Overall: 8.5
This movie could have done with out a few things, like the annoying woman. Also, the way the purple minions were done, it could have been done less violently. It could have used more, like more moments with the yellow minions.
This movie is a great movie, and if you liked the first one, you have to go see it.

I honestly don't find the woman very annoying, and I think they used the romantic sub-plot better than other movies normally use it.
