In may 2006, ubisoft unveiled to us a trailer of a brand new Rayman title for the Nintendo wii, from the trailer, it looks like it was going to be an action adventure game where you beat the stuffing out of rabbit like creatures called Rabbids. Then the WII finally came to us in November 2006 with a bucketload of launch titles, We finally got the rayman title! only thing is, IT'S A PARTY GAME! That's right, ubisoft decided to lie to us! Except, we also got a GBA version, and this is one is a platformer game. This is Rayman raving rabbids for the Game boy advance.

Story-7/10
Rayman is having a nap when the Rabbids suddenly appear and take rayman to a jail cell somewhere in the Dark world, taking away his hands. With the help of Murphy, he manages to get his hands back and escape the jail, but not before fighting Pink's new toy: A giant antitoon like machine. After that, Ly tells Rayman how the rabbids used to be sweet, innocent creatures. Eventually, the rabbids could not take this anymore, so they planned their revenge.

Gameplay-8/10
The gameplay is very similar similar to the GBA version of Rayman 3, although somewhat simplified, with fewer, shorter levels. The free-roaming hubs are replaced by simple world maps for each of the 5 worlds in the game. Moving between the worlds is accomplished through portals in the main level. Most of the levels are set in classic 2D platformer style. A few of them are time based and must be completed before the timer runs out or else restarted. Other levels contain a traditional mix of platformering, trap-dodging and enemies. Some levels feature time based 3D kart racing. Each world contains 4 levels (Except for the sweets world which has 5 levels) plus one boss level at the end of world. All normal levels contain either 50 or 100 of them. The platforming levels also contain 5 cages to break.

Graphics-9/10
OK, I'll admit, the graphics sprites and scenery in this game are ripped straight from Rayman 3 for the GBA, but is that a bad thing? Nah,,,,the graphics are still pretty good, all the levels in the game are bright, large, and bursting with color. Same with all the characters, they have alot of detail in them, The HUD is self explanatory too, on the left top hand corner of the screen, you see your health bar and how many lives you have left until Game over, and on the right hand corner of the screen, you see how many cages and lums you have collected in the level.

Sound-8/10
Alright! Sound, I admit, I've always loved the soundtrack in the Rayman titles, and this is no exception, all the songs in this game are nice, bright and happy! Except for...the dark world, which sounds really spooky and exotic. The SFX are pretty top-notch too, we get some voice clips from our hero, like a groan when he jumps, when he pushes an object, etc. So overall, the sound in this game is good, but not as good at the first three Rayman titles....

Addictiveness-6/10
Eh, I guess this game was pretty fun, but when you do finish it, you have the option to go back and collect everything you have missed, such as lums, cages, etc. So...I guess that is it for addictiveness....Wait! This game is 5 worlds long, so it will probably take you over 4 or so hours to finish it all....

Depth-7/10
So yeah, I already mentioned why to go back to this game when you finally finish it, besides that, I do not really have much to say for the depth!

Difficulty-5/10
If theres one thing I cannot get over, it is the fact that its WAY to easy, except for some of those pesky boss fights, I got through the whole game with about 15 extra guys remaining, and I never lost ANY of them....

Overall-7.5/10
Overall! I would highly recommend this game to anybody who needs a Rayman fix, I mean sure it's not as fun as previous installments, but it is good while it lasts, so....Buy it now! Those reasons were why I gave the game a 7.5 out of 10....
