If you know something that would be fun, or interesting from WWII post below!
DO NOT POST ANYTHING BRUTAL, OR IN ANYWAY OFFENSIVE!
Good Example:
Did you know that General Patton wanted to cut the Russian's Invasion of Germany off?

Now for my trivial fact,
Did you know that the Flying Tigers flew the Curtiss P-40, this plane was VERY durable, and has even flown 200 mi after a direct hit from Anti-Aircraft guns!

I am teh master of ww2 triviaaa.
the russians decided to train dogs to blow up german tanks.
they put food under tanks to train them to run to them.
when they had been trained they were strapped with explosives and released.
the problem was they had been trained with Russian tanks and...
well, use your imagination.
fail.

June 6, 1944 - On the morning of the invasion at Normandy, Hitler slept in and none of his higher officials had the courage to wake him and face his anger. The German forces stationed at Normandy could only be ordered by the Supreme Commander. Not even Rommel could give them orders. The structure of the German Military was set up in such a way that no one dared make independent decisions for fear of displeasing his superiors.

The Allies made preparations for D-day in England and German planes would fly over and take photographs of where troops and artillery were being massed. So, the allies used inflatable tanks and troop transports as subterfuge and would constantly move them around. By doing this the Nazi's couldn't be sure of where the Normandy invasion would actually take place.

WWII Trivia: During the Blitz, a young girl was advised by her mother to kick any stranger who approached her into the pig bins. A man approached her in the street, and she kicked them in the bin. She returned home later that night to discover that her father was pushed into a pig bin by a young girl.
