I have already reviewed sonic advance and sonic advance 2 for GBA, now it's time to finally end the series with sonic advance 3. This game was given to me by my brother, he said he didn't like it, so he gave me it. For me, I actually enjoyed it! So let's see if it really deserves my respect.

Story-8/10
The story behind this one is that eggman tears earth apart using chaos control, and sonic and tails are separated from knuckles, Amy, and cream, The two begin to search for their friends and the source of the trouble (which is the separation of the chaos emeralds) But like always, Eggman is making everything from doomsday devices to kooky contraptions and is trying to vanquish sonic once and for all, The most dangerous of these is gemerl, a super fighting robot made from the remains of Emerl.

Gameplay-9/10
Basic gameplay is identical to SA1 and SA2, This time however, SA3 introduces a new game feature. This game requires you to select a character and a partner character to assist them. This is similar to Sonic the hedgehog 2: the player picks two characters and controls one while the other will just follow along controlled by the computer. Besides the character actions, a partner affects the way the leader acts, for example, Amy will act similar to the way she did in SA1, but when with sonic, she will play the way she did in SA2, with an automatic spin attack and a spin dash. Each team-up will be given a categorization showing it's strength, which is either flying, power, or speed.

Graphics-10/10
This is without a doubt the best looking sonic advance yet, the others one look great, but nowhere near good as this one. Yet OMG! The same sprites are still being recycled for this one! But oh well, I can't blame them. Now one thing I love about this game, is the level design! You'll be visiting a bunch worlds, such as a city, a sunny hill, a toy land, an ocean base, etc. It's typical sonic stuff, but oh well!

Sound-10/10
Probably the best soundtrack of all the sonic advance titles, all of the songs seem to fit the mood REALLY well. The boss theme has a "Let's kill this bad bad man!" feel to it, while the toy kingdom has a nice happy cheerful to it. All the character voice clips are pretty slick too, like sonic's "Whaa!" when you fall a cliff or die, or eggman's "You're going to pay for this!' When you kill him. Sad that his voice actor died that year, then we got Mike Pollock to replace him....

Addictiveness-9/10
Probably the most enjoyable sonic advance title yet, theres a ton of stuff to unlock and do. There is a VS mode like usual, a time trial mode that lets you beat your best times on levels, and a whole lot more. I say for sonic, this is pretty darn good! And there a bunch of characters to unlock.

Depth-8/10
I came back to this one right after I finished it! Yes, it's that good of a game! I'll never get tired of it...I had alot of fun playing VS with my friends...The game has over 7 worlds, so that probably means you can beat in 4-5 hours, pretty long for a sonic game! Oh well, what to expect?

Overall-9.8/10
This one kept me for QUITE a long time, not just because it's sonic, but how much it has to offer! This is without a doubt, the best of the sonic advance titles! If you see this one, JUST BUY IT! You won't regret it!
