introduction: Here's another classic to review, as some of you may already know, I already reviewed the Arcade version which was a ton of fun to play,  really counting down on the series on the ps1 Tekken three was without a doubt one of the biggest changes in the slot or franchise, This game is gonna get the credit it rightfully deserves, as I am reviewing this game right now,  Back in those days, No wonder why this game is still considered by fans of the series The best tekken game. I remember at old times me and my bro Fighting each other, I would always pick forest law at most times, and my bro he would bring out hwoarang and I would lose, Even during some of our classic fights I would sometimes pick true ogre and spam his fire attack, just to gain a quick win, but I would still result losing to my big bro, We would even spend time playing on the Fun tekken ball mini game,  Ahh good times xD , Now reviewing this great port where do I start oh yeah..

( Testing/Playing this game, It's a Pretty laggy game, but This port is still pretty fun nonetheless, The lag doesn't appear on an actual Sony ps1 console, It just turns out pretty laggy on vizzed, Just like the arcade version of this game was pretty laggy on vizzed. )

Graphics:  The original Sony Playstation was really well known for being a great system at 3D, and Really playing the original Tekken games, It  proves that the 3D capabilities worked quite well, as all of the original Tekken games on the ps1 was graphically pretty close to their arcade counter parts perfectly, A noticeable difference, from the arcade version, to the ps1 version, is the intro, the intro/cutscene is much different it shows more characters, the background is different, and a whole lot of other stuff was different etc, You will see what I mean when you get you're hands on this classic. The only graphical errors I can see is The characters and the entire game screen they have a slightly noticeable transparent effect, but that doesn't stop this game from having its good looking charm.  The graphics were definitely a Improvement over the last two installments of the tekken series, as the characters have much more of a smoother color, They have more neater of a body polygon feel, and in general the characters look pretty darn good for this title. The characters equally have there own stages, well the beginning characters of course, some of the hidden characters use some of the 10 original starter characters stages in here, but that is not a bad thing. The stages rather fit the style of the characters neatly, Again when its the dragons that represents Forest laws kick butt kung fu like fighting style, or the dojo like parts representing Hwoarang and his tai Kwan do fighting style as well XD, In other words Fantastic Visuals for this game, Even if its the arcade or ps1, They still look pretty decent for the time this classic was released. Graphics rating 10/10

Sound: The sound is pretty nice, It has a nice amount of good sounding effects, that really just suit the characters look and feel in this 3d polygon fighter, even if its forest law hooyah or yoshimitsu's Raging grunts lol XD, The sound effects sound great, You can really get a good sense of how the blows just make this game feel so alive.(Soundtrack: First off you have two soundtracks in this game, which In my opinion is pretty darn tight, You have the original arcade soundtrack and The Remixed/arranged soundtrack. Arcade soundtrack: The arcade soundtrack was always one I used over the arranged. Because each of the theme's were fitting the characters pretty nicely, and the soundtracks had a great sense of Rocking tunes, That fitted each of the character stages pretty well, and in general I found the arcade soundtrack to work better for me, and it felt more compeleted then the Remixed/arranged soundtrack. Arranged soundtrack: The arranged soundtrack also sounded pretty good, but however I did not really like some certain versions of arranged character stages, Such as Eddy gordo and yoshimitsu's theme's. As the arcade version of those theme's had a better fitting tune. However one thing is that the secret characters found within the game will only have there personal theme's played,In the arranged/remixed soundtrack.  In other words both soundtracks are great, but I like the arcade version more) Sound rating 10/10

Addictiveness: With so many characters  With there neat voice overs and fighting styles, and the load of combo moves and modes How can you not find tekken three addicting. I mainly find this game addicting for the reasons said above, each of the characters worked out in a gameplay mode, This time it would have you to use mutil buttons for certain combos "aka" the other buttons used for lp, rp, lk, rk etc. The combos work pretty good when you finally get to working them out, Unfornately I have a hard enough time trying to get certain moves to work on this version due to lag. addictiveness rating 8/10

Story: After the events of tekken two certain characters were killed off, but for the most part  Jin's mother was Killed By The All mighty ogre, Heihachi Mishima Had been trying for quite some time to get ogre out and defeat him, but for many days The struggle could not continue, So He made the King of iron first tournament 3. Ogre knew it was a trap for heihachi to lure him out. However When Jin kazama Had learned of the news, That his Mother Jun Kazama Was eaten by Ogre. Jin Now enter's the tournament to seek out his revenge and gain the win for what happened to Jun Kazama, The time is now, Enter the king of Iron fist tournament 3!, you can pick Many Characters, but only one will succeed as champion. Storyline rating seven out of ten nice storyline.

Depth: You have so many options in this game. The various modes help you unlock certain characters within this game, Anyways Starting off. Arcade mode: The arcade mode, basically taking off in a tournament and defeat a certain amount of characters, until you reach the sub and final boss. Tekken force: Something that deserves to be its  own game possibly, but I am glad that they added it in this game. Anyways you pick a character, and instead of fighting in a tournament mode, you take a character and now you fight Heihachi's tekken force, in  a classic 2d like beat em up style. Tag team mode: basically like a arcade mode, but you get to choose the amount of characters you fight, the health bar will gain you a certain amount of health back, in other words tag team mode is like a 1 on 1 survival mode expect with tag parenters.  Survival mode: Basically you're  high score mode I guess, You basically pick a character, and you beat many foes as you can, During each fight a certain amount of health is healed, but once you run out  you're done for.  Trainning mode: A pretty useful mode for figuring out certain character moves commands and combos etc.Tekken ball: A mode that is unlockable. Basically you go around playing each fight's expect that you have to use the ball for damage. Depth rating 10/10  This game is pretty big and a fun classic.

Difficulty:  the other modes may have a soft side, but if you want a real challenge try force mode,The other modes such as arcade and others have an adjustable difficulty which can be useful for beginners and people new to the game, but force mode Is the hardest part of the game in my opinion,do to how cheap the ai can be, I came close to beating it yesterday, but I died at Mishima's fortress. Difficulty rating 6/10

Overall Tekken 3 is big classic and the ps1 port is definitely  worth a shot. overall rating 9.9

SuperCrash64 : I had to go into reply form to read this - your layout makes it hard to read the review.

Amazing review! Woah, you really do put effort into your writing and you've been sincerely improving! There were many descriptions involved in your review. You just need to develop them a little more. The word 'nice' tells me nothing in a review, swap it with 'Pleasant' as it makes your review more professional in that aspect. I can't say this was a bad review because it was .. brilliant! You give valid evidence with the points, I love that!

I hope you work on your choice of wording, and justify your points a little more, just a little. It will help you improve.

Good LUCK! GREAT REVIEW!

This was a good review, but Dean2k13 was right about how the layout messed it up.
Please turn the layout off when making a review. Thanks.
