Is anyone here excited as I am for the Dangan Ronpa anime coming out in July? I seriously cannot wait. Have any of you had the chance of playing the game or have just read the LP? Would you like the anime to include everything that happened in the game or to add new things to the story? I actually hope they stick to the original game story but at the same time, I would like more character interactions.

Been psyched for this since I finished it and i've been craving more since the 2nd game hasn't been fully LP'd yet

Just hope the tone of the game is translated over and the executions stay mostly untouched

Haha seriously, roller coaster is a good way to describe it! Ah yes, I am still debating whether to start the 2nd game because I don't know if I can handle not being able to marathon it all and waiting for updates. In the meantime, I started reading the prequel but the paywall has had me just waiting for the anime instead.

Although I really loved the whole pop- up art concept the game had going, I am looking forward to seeing the characters animated and playing out some of my favorite parts in the game. Yes, same here, those are important things that i hope will remain. The executions were certainly memorable ones and cringe worthy at times, so I really wouldn't want them to change anything that would take away their impact. I also hope we get to hear a lot of the soundtrack in the animation because it's great!

Oh no! I didn't even think about that!! I really don't want that either, it will totally ruin it. If I remember correctly, I think most of the voice actors who worked on the video game, will be doing the voices in the animation. I really hope they keep it this way.

I just laughed so hard at that, I did not think about that. That will be definitely something amusing to watch. There are way too many parts I'm excited to see. A few of those will be Hagakure's Burger Story and then Mondo and Ishimaru arguing in the sauna room.
