Also doing media conferences at E3 day “Zero” were EA and Ubisoft. EA did their media conference after Microsoft which is only fitting with the new partnership that EA and Microsoft have. EA started their conference with announcing in this next game year they will have a total of 11 games made for the X-Box One and Playstation 4. However, most of the games released by EA publishers will be for the X-Box One.

The first game that they showed a teaser of a new Dragon Age game called Dragon Age: Inquisition. This game will be released in the fall of 2014 and will be for only the X-Box One. This new game in the Dragon Age franchise will have your choices change the world of Dragon Age as we know it. Dragon’s flood the skies, as nations fight each other and mages go to war again the Templars. Your mission is to stop the agents of chaos. This, in the end will either save the world or destroy it. What is really cool is it looks like Morgan is back as she is the one narrating this teaser trailer of Dragon Age: Inquisition. However, it is unknown as to what part Morgan plays in this game, but the graphics of this game look really sharp.

The second video game EA introduced is Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare. This was actually a gameplay trailer and it looked really good graphics wise. However, this is not like the normal Plants VS Zombie games. Garden Warfare will be in an over the shoulder third person type of game play. Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare will come out first for the X-Box One and then later for the X-Box 360. It has not been released yet as to when this game will come out. The creators of Plants VS Zombies: Garden Warfare also announced but didn’t show and video that Pedal 2 is in the works.

Next coming in the spring of 2014 is Titan Fall. A game that is multiplayer with a solo player feel. Titan Fall is a military first person shooter that adds a twist to normal military type games. You can run around as a foot solider or you can go into a mech type armor thing. Titan Fall will be available for the PC, X-Box One, and X-Box 360.

Following Titan Fall was a short teaser of what looked to be something for Lost Planet. Until finally an AT-AT foot shows in the screen five seconds into the video and then finally the words Star Wars Battlefront was shown. It is unknown as to when this game will be release but there were lots of cheers after the title was released. For those of you that don’t know little more than two months ago Disney bought the rights to Star Wars, which has a partnership with EA. So the shock that there would be any kind of Star Wars trailer for any game was huge.

EA will also be releasing in November of 2013 Need for Speed Rivals. With this Need for Speed being different than anything else released before. You can start off playing by yourself then out of the blue someone from online can join your game and be one of the cops chasing you. This is suppose to give you a feel that you are not playing against the normal AI’s in the game. This game will also be an open world racing game. Look for Need for Speed Rivals on all X-Box One, X-Box 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4.

Finally, after Need for Speed Rivals EA announced a new thing to sports games, EA Sports Ignite. Games like NBA Live 14, Madden 25, Fifa 14, and UFC will be part of EA Sports Ignite. Most of these games will be just like their counter parts; however, more little details will be expressed in these games. For example with Madden 25, there will be more detail on how to stiff arm a defender. The way you position your arm will determine rather or not your stiff arm is successful or not.

EA then ends Their Media Conference with videos of Battlefield 4 and Mirror Edge 2. Battlefield 4 is something that we have come to expect to have been shown for the next gen consoles. However, the real shock was the first person fighting/obstacle course type game Mirror Edge 2.

UBISOFT Shows Off Big Names At E3

UBISOFT had some really good announcements that will have gamers and fans of UBISOFT products exited. First off comes Splinter Cell: Black list which will be coming out in August of 2013. Following Splinter Cell: Black List will be Rayman Legends which will be released in September of 2013. Other announcements that UBISOFT made were a special video of The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot and South Park: The Stick of Truth. The Mighty Quest of Epic Loot is already out on Beta for the PC. This is a free to play game that is already up and running. As For South Park: The Stick of Truth is to be released during the Holiday season. However, they did joke about possibly being delayed “You know how games can be.”

One of the biggest announcements that UBISOFT announced was Rabbids Invading the TV. Now you can play Rabbids while watching it on TV. The animated show will allow you to interact with it while watching it. With Partnerships with Nickelodeon and Microsoft, kids will be able to play different games while watching the cartoon show.

Other game announcements that were made by UBISOFT were game like Assassin’s Creed VI, The Crew, Just Dance 2014, Watch Dogs, Trails Frontier and Farm, and Tom Clancy’s The Division.
