Ladies and gentlemen... let me introduce to you... DRIVER 2!!!! *absolute silence...*

No seriously, I'm going to get right to the topic at hand here...

Graphics- 5/10
Now, I have played some really awkwardly designed games... some of which even made me ask "how is that even possible?" or "how did that hit me?". But in all seriousness, I don't think I have encountered a game even more "awkward" as this one... or even as the first Driver game. Now, I know this may seem like an insult... and believe me, I feel like I am insulting myself with this. But this is the honest truth, this game has a LOT of visual problems that I don't even know where to start. Alright, to start out this little "insult" added onto "injury" effect... let me just say, the cars aren't as detailed as I hoped for. From what I have heard when they made the FIRST Driver game, that Driver 2 was going to actually be better than the first one... and well, let me just say... it's like playing Driver all over again. Next, your car somehow is able to go over walls that you're not supposed to... go through solid objects that you're not supposed to, and even fall out of the world (yet you're not supposed to). This actually tends to happen more than not, but besides the fact that this game and it's previous design both suffer from a high and common effect of "glitchyness", both of these games are rather amusing to play (but only when you're in "Free Ride").

Sound- 5/10
Just like with the graphics, the audio of this game is really... "dull" nonetheless. Like I said earlier, I actually enjoyed playing this game... but I really wish they had found a way to IMPROVE it, I mean seriously... there are a LOT of good PS1 games, why did this one have to just SUCK? But I'm getting off track here, as I was saying... the audio in this game tends to be a bit "bland", often having no kind of creativity at all and lacking interest. The car sounds are even agitating, cause once your car gets to full speed... all you here is a repeating sound of like two gears grinding together the entire time. I figured at least turn that sound off once you are going max speed, and heck... the music in the game is even boring (unless you like Cuban dance stuff). Other than that, it's pretty just... "bland", it's like "Nothing new... nothing new... still nothing new." Heck, even the OTHER people in this game that aren't you are somehow SMALLER than you and more BLOCKY than you, they don't even make a noise when you run them over and they don't die... they just run through walls and disappear... makes total sense, doesn't it?

Addictiveness- 8/10
Now, this is where I compliment the game on the success it has made. For starters, to be fairly honest with all of you... I never did the campaign, I never did any of the missions and I never bothered to even try. Why you may ask... well it's simple really, a game like that doesn't need MISSIONS or CAMPAIGNS... it's like an early and beta version of Grand Theft Auto (yet I don't know which one came out first...), but seriously... it just seems more like a "free roam" kind of game.... which is much more amusing than sitting there and trying to finish a mission that is all the way across the map in under 1 minute... like "HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!" But yeah, this game is very amusing and rather hilarious to watch cop cars all slam and crash all over the place, taking out everything while you dodge them, that was pretty much the only good thing about it... "Free Ride" mode, where you can just drive around and provoke the police.

Story- 5/10
Like I said, I don't even know what the story is behind this game... I only played it for "Free Ride" mode, but I believe if you like games like Grand Theft Auto... then I'm sure you'll enjoy this one as well.

Depth- 6/10
Well, once again... I never bothered to play anything else but "Free Ride" mode, but even in that... there was so much to do. You can try to glitch your way into a building as cops surrounded you and kill each other by crashing their vehicles until they finally all break, or you could try to see how many cops you can outrun before they finally corner slam you all over the place. You can try getting to high parts of the map, or you can try even sinking into the ground... there is really so much you can do, but only because this game is funny when it glitches.

Difficulty- 6/10
Now, I'm not saying that this game is HARD or even CHALLENGING... but after a while, it does become DIFFICULT. If this is your first time playing it, then you may find it to be really difficult... but after a while, you get the hang of the controls and it's not really even that much of a challenge even more.

To be honest, if it wasn't for "Free Ride" in my opinion... then this game wouldn't be as successful as it was years ago. But you should just find out for yourself if you don't trust my opinion... it's better than you just play the game to see what I mean.
