So, earlier today I managed to review another game by Doritos known as "Doritos Crash Course", but have you ever heard of "Doritos Harms Way" (also just known as "Harms Way")... well if you haven't, then this game you should really put your eyes on. This game, is much similar to playing "Twisted Metal" but in a racing style... or you could say it's pretty much like the movie "Death Race" (1 & 2)

Here, let me just lay things out for you... before you even think of disappearing on me:

Graphics- 9/10
Now, since this game isn't as popular as other games... people would be curious why I would rate this a 9 out of 10 for the graphics. Well, I'm not going to beat around the bush here, this game really looks amazing while playing it. It's almost close to realistic cars, and the detailing is pretty much exciting to see, it's basically playing Test-Drive Off-Road vs Twisted Metal... you got a choice through 4 different vehicles, each having their own unique statistics. Some being a little more damage resistant, others being faster... some being easier to control, and others easier to drift... being the way this game has been built, I'm surprised it's not something that people are still going completely nuts over. This game, after playing it only one time... I could not put the controller down, it was that exciting to play and see how the graphics have become. From my experiences, I'd have to say that the graphics are realistic in a sense... even the dirt particles in the game can really throw you off at times.

Sound- 8/10
Now, since this game... once again, isn't really popular and isn't on the top 10 list of games people would recommend for you to play... doesn't mean this game isn't amazing for what the game is. The sounds of the cars and the ground colliding almost make you think that someone is really crashing outside (if the TV is loud enough). It's pretty much, like I have said before... like the movie Death Race, in short perspective... you have to race against other players (or AI/bots) and take them out, while ending up in first place. Sure, there's a re-spawn like what you would get in Twisted Metal (for the PS1 and so on)... but by then, everyone has already past you. The only way to really win on this game is to be steady and speedy. Sure, people are blowing each other up almost all the time... but this game, tends to blow your mind when you hear the sounds of metal breaking off the car or bullets slamming into your vehicle. Whether or not you play the driver or the turret is your choice (this can only be done online if there are teams, otherwise you can only play as a driver)... it's just exciting to see how much damage this game revolves around.

Addictiveness- 10/10
Like I have said before, if you have ever played Twisted Metal... then you will love to play this game. It's just a war between cars racing against each other, and cars attempting to destroy each other. Whether or not you're going to go around and destroy the other racers, or just race as fast as you can... the real thing that gets your mind addicted to this, is the level of damage it does. This game is just nothing but endless explosions and bullets flying all around, dust tornadoes and other things that just drive you bonkers. While I was playing this game, I became so obsessed with blowing up the other drivers that I never won a single match for the first few weeks I was playing it, but after a while... this game had caused me to attack the drivers as well as go for the gold. I mean seriously, it is literally Death Race... but in a whole new perspective. The weapons are completely out of control and tend to confuse people when you have fire and rockets and heavy machine guns going off at random. You have lasers and bombs, and all kinds of other things to use to your expense. Now sure, you can't blow up by running into a wall... but then again, you actually can. When your car receives enough damage, it will blow up the next time it is hit... so if you go head first into a wall and your cars systems are already blinking red, then well... you're pretty much dead and that's that. In my honest opinion, this game is WAY best with a friend on your team against two other friends on a team... or best when against other people online. Although, offline... the bots themselves are somewhat difficult to beat as well... I couldn't beat them the first week I was playing this, but after that week, I was tearing up the track... until I got online, then I was getting my rear handed to me over and over again.

Story- 0/10
Like many games that I will be reviewing while I am online, this one also does not have a story of any kind. The most basic idea of the story is that you are racing and battling to survive.

Depth- 7/10
Although I have said so many positive things about this game, there is still one fact that tends to ruin the game and the playing experience... not many people play this. On a scale, there's at least 50 people that do play this... but at most, you will only see about 10 or so players on this at a time. Like I have said, if this game was a little more noticed... then there would probably be people playing this all day long, with me, I couldn't even put the controller down until I finally won against a pretty decent sized group. The other bad thing about this, is that if all the driver slots are picked (total of 4 drives and 4 turrets)... if all of the drivers are picked, you have to play as a turret, which is also fun... cause then you blow up drivers... but at the same time, the only way your turret can get stronger is if your driver picks up turret upgrades. So, it's a bit challenging if you have a horrible driver, but at the same time... I've seen turrets with just the sniper attachment take out cars left and right. So, this game is good and all... but is best played with people you know, or at least one other person you know on your team... that way you don't have some bozo ruining the game play by just sitting there or driving in circles.

Difficulty- 7/10
Well, being the way this game is... I even had troubles against the bots. I mean seriously, the bots when they are turrets are extremely accurate, and often blew my car all to bits because I missed a turn or because I got knocked around. Secondly, the drivers tend to be aggressive online... so if you get next to someone, they'll try to ram you straight into a wall... even if it means taking themselves out of the race as well and putting them in last place with you. Online, it's an aggressive game... but when in the lobby, people are really friendly. Once you get into the game though, it's nothing but endless madness and aggression. The bots are even almost as aggressive as a human would be, they will ram you into a wall and you will blow up... they will target you until your car is burning and no longer moving. It's a game where luck and skill kind of matter, cause if you don't know the track... then you'll probably end up dying by going off the track and being destroyed by some weird machine that kills everything, or you'll blow up by slamming into walls all the time. Overall, this game was exciting to play... and I'm hoping that they make another one, but allow more cars and more customizations and more weapons.
