Alright so I have only played through FF1 so that is why I am only reviewing FF1 instead of FF2 as well. So to start FF1 in my opinion is a great game to play and not too difficult to get used to and learn. Your able to start off with a team of 4 characters which you are able to choose the names as well as classes. I suggest having a team of: Fighter, Red Mage, White Mage, and Monk for your first play through. Battle system is the same as any other Final Fantasy title out there but if an enemy dies and another character was set to attack that enemy it just moves its attack to a different enemy instead of just missing the attack or skipping that turn which is very helpful with leveling and some boss battles with multiple enemies.

Graphics and Sound: Well if you played any of the other games in the series you would know how the graphics get better and better in each game as well as the sound. However this is the first game of that very long lived series of great games so do not expect much. The graphics are pretty average for its time period and some spells look pretty cool but like I said its the 1st game of the long video game series so do not expect so much.

Addictiveness: It is great playing the first time through but not too many players like playing it more than once that I have found especially myself. I find if you over level your characters in the beginning too much you lose interest very fast and if you under level them too much you will find yourself very frustrated. Some walkthroughs I have seen actually tell you that the final boss could be beaten with you characters only at level 50. First time through I held the space bar down and just kept pressing the attack button until I had infinite amounts of money and my characters were all at level 25. Sure it was a breeze to get through the whole game but I found it to be just a "just get through all these puzzles so I could brag I beat the game" so like I said over leveling makes you lose interest in the game.

Story and Depth: Well the story is not bad but it is not the best story I have seen in its generation. Depth is not bad either since there is a lot of puzzles in each section of the game and you always find yourself doing something. Though its a 10 hour or less first time play through that could hopefully give you all a better idea of the depth of the game.

Difficulty: The difficulty is pretty much based on your party's levels. If your characters are too weak then difficulty could be an 7-9.5 but if your characters are too over leveled difficulty could be between a 2-4. So I put down a difficulty of 7 just because if your playing this game for a challenge you will not allow your characters to be over leveled and so the difficulty minimum in that case in my opinion would be a 7.

Hope you all enjoyed reading my review and I am sorry its only on 1/2 of this game series which is included. I could say I tried FF2 but did not like the battle system or the leveling.

Not bad. I found it interesting and a good write. It was too bad that you didn't finish the second one so you could review them both. Still the work on the one wasn't bad at all.
