Overall - 8

Soul Calibur Legends on the Wii is an okay Soul Calibur game to play. It is a whole lot different from the other Soul Calibur games because you can actually move around and fight. This game had some good things and bad things. I am not that big of a Soul Calibur fan, but I got to admit that this game was not that bad to play.

Graphics - 8

The graphics were okay in this game. The effects were amazing and the environment was slightly good.

Sound - 7

The sound was fine. I did not enjoy hearing the same amount of music in every level. The sound effects were okay, except for the character's attack voices, they would just say the same thing over and over again. It is just not exciting.

Addictiveness - 5

This game is not as addicting for me because like I said, I am not a big fan of Soul Calibur games. This game has it's moments of excitement, until you beat the game.

Story - 9

The story in this game was very good. It was similar from the other games, just a different storyline. I do not remember much about the story because I have not played it in almost a year now. I do remember some scenes and believe me, it was a very good story.

Depth - 6

The game does not have that much to offer. For instance, each character can have up to 4 weapons and they can increase the strength on it by getting some kind of energy in levels, which really helps a lot in the game. Also, once you beat the game, all you get is additional costumes for characters. As for the characters, there is not even a lot in the game. Just about 12 characters. And then there is the versus mode, which you can verse with your friends (not online).

Difficulty - 5

The game was actually difficult. To actually beat the game, you need to learn how to attack at the right moment and block at the right time. I barely beat the game on the easiest difficulty. The issues I had were some of the bosses. Other than that, the game plays fair.

Wrap Things Up...

Soul Calibur Legends is an okay game to play. I would recommend trying this game out if you have not already. I definitely recommend it to Soul Calibur fans and people that enjoy fighting games.

Marcmoney : I think I agree with you on every point you made here. Soul Caliber Legends is just an "okay" game. The fact that it is different from the rest of the Soul Caliber games makes it stronger in ways and weaker in others, but overall I really don't think it's a stand-out game. I will say, though, that I'm glad and kind of surprised they put Lloyd Irving in the game. The Tales of Symphonia fan in me was excited, but I don't like that they changed the voice actor from the original (I believe Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World's Lloyd used the same voice actor as Soul Caliber Legends).

Other than the skinny box for the layout, I have to say that this review is pretty good, and as I said previously, spot on. I guess you can't expect less from the site staff!
