First off if this is not the best place for this thread then I give permission to move this thread.
Anyways as the title says it, I'm planning on doing a garage sale and I could use some help with pricing some of my goods. I have a wide variety of goods and I hope to get more soon (I'm not going to say how I got them as its a bit personal). Here are some of my goods...
I have 3 brown furnature pieces that I plan to sell individually and as a set. One of the items has a small cabinet in the middle where you could store decent size items (books, DVDs, small DVD player, etc) This piece also has wheels on the bottom for easy movement. The other two items are similar to your standard small nightstands. They have 2 small cabents, one on top of the other that can store some small items (jewelry, paper, magazines, etc). The only difference between the 2 is that 1 of the nightstands has 2 foldable flaps on the side that can make the nightstand longer. All three are in pretty good condition. Brand name is Pennsyvania House (and its marked inside the cabinents). Also I got them from an Estate sale...originally going for $270 dollars, marked half down to $105 dollars, bought them for $60.
I have a small "casino" board. The board can play roulette, craps, blackjack, texas holdem, and other gambling games. Does include all the pieces.
I have 2 Medieval Swords and can be sold individually or as a set. One of the swords has a "Viking" style. What I mean by that is that there are 2 serpent/dragon heads on the handguard with ruby's in the eyes (not real rubys...as far as I know). There is a emerald/turquise gem in the middle of the handguard (could or could not be real). The other sword is your standard Medieval sword with some black patterns on the handguard. Both swords have a chain on them, but the Viking sword has this gold line where the chain is (most be another handguard). Both have a black sheath. The blades are quite small and thin. Most likely these are just decorative swords.
I have 2 other swords that I would say are "African" in nature. Both swords have a wooden sheath with some decorative carvings on the sheath. Both swords have a wood guard. The blades are quite large compared to the Medieval swords and give off a "scimitar" feeling.
I have a casset case (no cassets).
I have an arts and crafts kit. Has markers, crayons, and stamps. The case has animals that can be colored in with the crayons or markers.
I have a couple of lamps that have a square base that you can insert your hand through. Lamps are not the big.
A wall mounted hand clock.
A TV that is not a flat screen.
Some Christmas coffee cups with plates to put the cups under. Also includes cereal bowls.
That is most of my "big ticket items" that I have currently. Like I said before I plan of getting some more stuff (hopefully NERF guns, Golf balls, more TVs that are not flat screen, old computers, etc). So pretty much here is what I'm asking you guys...
1. How much would you guys pay for those items I mentioned (ASSUME YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BUYING THEM!!)
2. How much should I put as a starting price?
