This is my review of Skyward Sword, the Zelda game that's gonna basically start the Zelda series. (Not the first game, I mean in the timeline.) Let's get started on this review.
Graphics: 9/10 This is probably the main look I want for the series. The mixture between the realistic Twilight Princess and cartoony Wind Waker really hit the standard for Zelda. But it's on the Wii, and Wii is not a great graphic console. I digress.
Sound:10/10 The sound in this game is AMAZING. All of the music is orchestrated and it sounds SO amazing .
Addictiveness: 8/10 This game is not that addictive, to say. The start is slow, like Twlight Princess, and there are not much sidequests that I enjoy. All the sidequests are for Gratitude Cyrstals, not for, example: sword upgrades, equipment, etc.
Story: 10/10 "This is the first Zelda!" Nuff said. No, seriously, the story is pretty good. It goes into the origins of the Master Sword, Ganondorf always coming back, and even Hyrule itself!
Depth: 8/10 Like I said, not very much. The Sky only has one main island, and the rest are just small chunks of earth.
Difficulty: 7/10 This game is a little harder then most Zelda games. Instead, of say, Keese doing quarter heart of damage, they do like 1! In Hero Mode, The damage you take doubles, which, in my opinion, the hardest Zelda quest to date.
Overall: 9.8/10 This game is amazing, with the analog controls, epic backstory, and memorable characters (looks at Groose) this game is a once in a lifetime experience. Buy this game. It's that good. It's worth it. BUY IT.
