This is a little fanfic that I thought up of. I call myself the #1 Mother fan and I haven't done a fanfiction yet, so here's one. I know it won't exactly follow the timeline rules, but it should still be good. Also, no, this is not supposed to be a rip of the "Mother 2 + 3: Fall of the Pig King" comic from Starmen.net. Anyhow, Enjoy! Also, spoilers are in here, so if you haven't beaten Earthbound or Mother 3, beware. I'll update this from here to there aswell. CHAPTER 1: MEMORIES Ness woke up from his bed to the morning sun. He opened the windows and looked outside. He saw his sister Tracy and her friends playing on the hill. It had been 2 years since he ventured out to defeat the Embodiment of Evil, Giygas. He, to this day, misses the journey, especially his friends. Who were they, again…..? Paula from Twoson in his own country, Eagleland. She was such a sweet girl, but also had some deadly PSI. He remembered when he saved her from the happy happyists. He also had a small crush on her. He missed her the most. Jeff Andonuts from Winters in Foggyland. He was very smart and made some fancy weapons. He was very supportive when Paula was kidnapped by Montoli while they were in Fourside. His weapons were powerful and his Bottle Rockets really packed a punch. Poo, the crown prince of Dalaam in Chommo. He vowed to protect Ness always and saved him from Master Barf with his ability to rain down the stars, PSI Starstorm. He never really liked any of the foods they bought. Ness, like Paula and Poo, had PSI himself. He never really used it nowadays since there were no enemies to fight anymore since Giygas was long gone. And Porky, once his next door neighbor. He was a good friend but coward, and he betrayed Ness and sided with Giygas. He tried to befriend Porky again, but Porky was always ignorant and caused trouble. Ness still remembers fighting him in his Spider mech. Behind him in the battle was the Devil’s Machine, which kept Giygas stable. It had his face on there and could cast the offensive PSI he could. Ness still felt chills from when Porky turned it off. Giygas was fearsome indeed. Paula prayed to help them triumph. After a few days he received a mocking letter from Porky, saying more about him going off into another dimension or something. Ness also remembered the “Your Sanctuaries” they visited. Ness went to and collected the melodies of Giant Step in Onett, Lilliput Steps in Peaceful Rest Valley near Twoson, the Milky Well near Saturn Valley, Rainy Circle in Winters, Magnet Hill in Fourside, Pink Cloud in Dalaam, Lumine Hall in Deep Darkness, and Fire Spring in the Lost Underworld. The journey began the fateful night when a meteor fell on top of the hill near his house. With the meteor came an insect warrior named Buzz Buzz. He informed Ness about his destiny and the adventure he would take. A Starman Junior sent by Giygas tried to assassinate Buzz Buzz and Ness. He had some fearsome PSI, but Buzz Buzz put up PSI Shields to dissipate them and defeated the Starman easily. After bringing Porky & Picky home, their mother Lardna Minch killed Buzz Buzz from her fear of flies and thinking he was a Dung Beetle. Buzz Buzz then gave him the Sound Stone to collect the melodies and disappeared. After visiting all 8, Ness entered the realm of his mind, Magicant, to power up for Giygas. He defeated the evil inside him and did so. Ness’s thoughts broke from his Mother calling him to the table for breakfast. He ran down stairs and ate some steak. Steak was Ness’s favorite food and he always craved it and other kinds of meat.Tracy and her friends came crowding in to eat their dishes. And King was handed his bowl of dog food. King was the old, lazy dog of his who never wanted to fight. He didn’t really need any food, he really needed to lose some weight, and the walks he was taken on weren’t enough. “Someone called last night, looking for you.” Ness’s mom blurted out. Who would be calling Ness? He doesn’t really have too many friends that would call him…… unless…..! Ness was filled with excitement to think one of his old friends was calling. But he didn’t want to die of joy right now, so once he was done he took a walk around Onett. Nothing has really changed, and Mayor B. H. Pirkle was finally replaced. Uhg, he did really bad as mayor, Ness was surprised Onett didn’t collapse during his term. And the police force was as terrible as ever, as someone robbed a few houses last week and Captain Strong’s police force didn’t bother to do anything. Frank who once led the Sharks was still working at the Burger Shop still, so Ness visited there and bought some grub to take home. Ness & Frank conversed and took a little trip down memory lane. They both also visited Giant Step. While walking home with a few Hamburgers on hand, Ness got snuck up on by what looked like a flying pig thing of sorts. Ness hadn’t battled in a while, so he was being struck at a few times but managed to cast Lifeup and heal his wounds. He finally was able to cast his old power, PSI Rockin’, and destroy it. Why was a robot around? Weren’t Giygas’s forces eliminated already? And why did it resemble a Pig? Suddenly, a dark cloud appeared over Onett and thousands of them horded around the city, shooting beams at the houses. Ness cast Shield ∑ to cover the houses and weaken the damage. Then all of the pigbots floated over to Ness.To wipe them all out, Ness began to cast Flash Ω. Ness unleashed a blinding flash of light from his fingers. The robots were surrounded by a green aura and exploded violently. With the cataclysm over, the townspeople unlocked their doors and walked around outside.Meanwhile, Ness walked home and told of the tale. His mother shocked, she and Ness wondered if there was another villan arising. Meanwhile, Porky was in the middle of travelling to the Nowhere Islands. “DRAT! Why does that loser always have to be so strong!?” Porky complained to himself. “Bah, no matter. Soon, I will make an Empire that follows by my standards. I will then form an army of Pigs to help take over. You’ll haven’t won and you never will, Ness………..” So, how'd I do? Wow, great job! I really enjoyed reading this Mother3fan5, I wasn't actually really expecting anything special since my previous experiences with fanfics on the internet have been... well bad since the majority of them are quite frankly horrible thankfully you avoided some of the horrible mistakes so this was surprising good. So this being only the first chapter, you really need to keep me updated with every chapter so i can continue to enjoy your writing. My favorite part of your fanfic has to be the fact you kept the characters true to there canon counterparts. This is one thing that really ticks me off with fanfic writers when they completely ignore the actually characterization of the characters in question. So I'm going to have to say you did a really good job and should continue to write this fanfic! Just remember to keep me updated okay? :3 . . . |

iN008 : Yep, I'm done with chapter 2 now. Thanks.  CHAPTER 2: RE Ness finally came to answer the phone. It was Paula! Ness was overjoyed to hear her again, it had been so long. Paula: “It’s been too long, Ness.” Ness: “I know! I could never get to Twoson, because the police have been roadblock spreeing…..” Paula: “I don’t get their logic. Anyway, I called because I sensed a disturbance in the area. I knew something was going to invade, and it did.” Ness: “Those Pig Things invaded Twoson, too!?” Paula: “Yep. And I heard there were a few in other cities, but major outbreaks occurred in Winters and Dalaam.” Ness: “It seems they’re targeting the ones who defeated Giygas: me, you, Jeff, and Poo. It seems there’s another attack on earth. But who in the world would make Pig robots?!” Paula: “I can already see……….” Ness: “*gasp* PORKY! He’d be the one to target us and have PIG robots attack us. But why would he host an attack on Earth?” Paula: “I don’t know. I’m trying to track his location, but I can’t find it…… he might be travelling to another dimension.” Ness: “I remember him saying he would do the exact thing right when Giygas was vanishing.” Paula: “Well, he might be plotting something wherever he’s going, so we need to stop him. I’ll be right over.” Ness hung up the phone and thought to himself. *Porky. He would terrorize a world, alright. He was such a rude person overall. I hated him somewhat, deep inside of me. I WILL stop you, Porky. Just you wait…………..* Paula came into the house shortly after.Ness was glad to see Paula again, but there was another matter to think about. They talked at great lengths to fill in the gap of where they were on their separate ways, then talked about Porky’s invasion a bit more. Paula and Ness promised to stop him, no matter what. Paula contacted Jeff and Poo via telepathy and told them to come over. They all came together and talked more in their little re supplies, they looked for a way to chase after Porky. Dr. Andonuts & Apple Kid then contacted them and told them they had created the Phase Distorter IV, which could travel from one dimension to another in any time. The 4 teleported to Winters, entered the Doctor's lab, and climbed in and flew off. After a few hours they crashed onto what looked like a mountain, and they saw a vast forest ahead of them. Nothing looked wrong in the slightest, so they headed back. After a few weeks they decided to go back & check on the area again. Suddenly, the 4 heard shrieks and screams of whom sounded like a mother and her children, and then heard a loud, intimidating roar. They couldn’t see the screaming people but could see what was roaring. It was fearsome indeed, it looked like a dinosaur, but it had what looked like machinery all over it; some body parts were even replaced by robotic parts! It seemed like someone/ something had turned it into a mindless killing machine.The 4 tried to stop it; Ness fired Rockin, Paula fired Freeze, Jeff fired Bottle Rockets, and Poo fired Thunder. The attacks dissipated when they hit it, they didn’t even effect the beast. The thing ignored the shots and continued after the mother and her children. The Chosen 4 couldn’t keep up with them and they fell out out of their sight. A few minutes later they came across people who were dressed in Pig Suits. Paula screamed at them, yelling “ARE YOU THE ONES WHO STARTED THIS FIRE AND SENT OUT THAT……. MONSTER!?” The Pigmask replied, “Yes, to create the empire that Master Porky wants!” Paula then lost it, then grabbed a Multi Bottle Rocket from Jeff’s sack, and threw it at the Pigmasks, vaporizing them. Eventually the other 3 were able help Paula keep her cool, and they explored the raging fires more. They suddenly heard splashes in the water, and then heard one last scream that fell silent will one last roar and what sounded like a snapping noise, which alarmed the 4, especially Ness & Paula. Sometime later they saw someone who looked like a cowboy rushing through the forest with some other man. Ness and Poo were swatting away the flies that were appearing, but they didn’t know those flies were starting more fires. Then they saw the cowboy man crushing 3 flies with a large chunk of lumber. The cowboy man rushed into a burning cabin. After a few minutes the cowboy came out alive with another boy, but the house caved in right after they got out, covering them in soot. The boy complained a little, while the cowboy ignored him, the cowboy saw the flaming bushes rustling, but continued on. The 4 were relieved; they didn’t want to be noticed by the people. Later on, people came rushing into the forest, shouting the names “Lucas! Claus! Hinawa!” Who were the people with those names? Were they the ones running from the monster earlier? The 4 were baffled by this. They then caught sight of the same cowboy they saw earlier and a dog running into the forest. The Chosen 4 couldn’t keep up with them and they fell out out of their sight. A few minutes later they came across people who were dressed in Pig Suits. Paula screamed at them, yelling “ARE YOU THE ONES WHO STARTED THIS FIRE AND SENT OUT THAT……. MONSTER!?” The Pigmask replied, “Yes, to create the empire that Master Porky wants!” Paula then lost it, then grabbed a Multi Bottle Rocket from Jeff’s sack, and threw it at the Pigmasks, vaporizing them. Eventually the other 3 were able help Paula keep her cool, and they explored the raging fires more. They suddenly heard splashes in the water, and then heard one last scream that fell silent will one last roar and what sounded like a snapping noise, which alarmed the 4, especially Ness & Paula. Sometime later they saw someone who looked like a cowboy rushing through the forest with some other man. Ness and Poo were swatting away the flies that were appearing, but they didn’t know those flies were starting more fires. Then they saw the cowboy man crushing 3 flies with a large chunk of lumber. The cowboy man rushed into a burning cabin. After a few minutes the cowboy came out alive with another boy, but the house caved in right after they got out, covering them in soot. The boy complained a little, while the cowboy ignored him, the cowboy saw the flaming bushes rustling, but continued on. The 4 were relieved; they didn’t want to be noticed by the people. Later on, people came rushing into the forest, shouting the names “Lucas! Claus! Hinawa!” Who were the people with those names? Were they the ones running from the monster earlier? The 4 were baffled by this. They then caught sight of the same cowboy they saw earlier and a dog running into the forest. Jeff convinced them to climb up the mountains and watch events unfold. |

CHAPTER 4: RECONSTRUCTED CARIBOU Eventually the 4 got tired and fell asleep. Then Ness woke up to the sound of crashing noises. He looked down,and saw the same cowboy & dog with a man with a limp. They were all bashing what looked like a Moose, but had…. machinery! And then they saw more of those Pigmasks, who seemed to be controlling it.Ness fell asleep again when the Reconstructed Caribou had been destroyed and the Pigmasks were running off. A few minutes later all 4 woke up and saw the cowboy & man walking toward a fire with people gathered around it. And there seemed to be children there who were drying off in towels…… were they the ones from earlier? One of them had blonde hair and the other one had what seemed like orangish brown in the darkness of the night. Sorry that this was so short, I had lost motivation when I lost alot. He was talking about something, but they couldn’t catch onto what he was saying. He was talking to the cowboy. The cowboy had hugged the kids a few minutes ago, so he must’ve been their father. They heard the pale man call the cowboy “Flint,” so that must’ve been his name. Suddenly they heard something that shocked them. *MAJOR SPOILERS OF MOTHER 3 COMING UP. IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE GAME SPOILED FOR YOU, TURN BACK NOW* “The Drago’s fang was pierced through your wife’s heart.” Was THAT the snapping noise from earlier? And the lady who was with those Children? Then they saw Flint have a breakdown, bashing various people in the area with a stick he pulled from the fire. He was finally settled via being knocked out by a man’s wood chunk. Not being able to handle it any longer, they all fell back into the Phase Distorter IV and went back to Saturn Valley to Dr. Andonuts and described what they had seen. Dr. Andonuts: My, that is quite sad…… Jeff: Gah, way too sad. Poo: It must’ve been caused by those men in Pig suits. Paula: It must’ve been Porky, since he’s associated with pigs. Ness: It’s no surprise Porky would cause havoc to a peaceful land. Paula: I agree, the way he acted a few years ago......
