This game is very engaging with the story. It has surprising twists and in depth characters! If you can get through the first part of the story it will open up and surprise you. Literally, the entire world will change before your eyes!

I've never actually played this game. Is it better than FF2 was?

I have this on the PS1 it was sitting right next to a copy of Final Fantasy Anthology so I got them both there and then lol

EvilAlu : Sweet. I got bored with FF2...then quit about three days later. lol I'll try it again sometime, I imagine.

In the ways of leveling up, I think ff2 was a lot harder to grasp for some people. I mean, you hit yourself and your hp raises......dang masochistic heroes. In the ways of FF3, or correctly, FF6, the leveling from the first game seems to appear again(No more hitting yourself to up your stats....WOOHOO!)

But, to be honest, the biggest thing that FF2 had coming to it was its storyline, and the introduction of changing party members(Something touched on in Legends, but that wasn't released to us until the GB, so it doesn't count)

Now, to explain why I say correctly FF6. FF3 was originally a story about four youths known as the Onion kids. Again, this wasn't released to the US for quite some time after, in which time, they had already released FF6 as FF3(FF4 being the one with Cecil, and FF5 being the one with Bartz). Why FF6 came in before FF4 and 5....I don't have a clue. I believe that it was the amazing storyline that far exceeded anything that the other two had(I personally didn't like FF4. As for FF5, it wasn't really that memorable to me. But then, everyone likes Goth girls with green hair and amnesia.)


Gee..I may have to make a history of FF thread somewhere(Probably playstation....they all got remade into playstation....except FF3 oddly.)
