Well hello all, I am posting this because I require help in my certain predicament. Whenever I launch the Emulator on a game that requires the Vizzed plugin, a pop-up appears saying "Cannot create DirectSound 00000001" exactly like that. Then, everything speeds up like I am pressing the speed button, but I am not. It is annoying since I can barely type anything when I play Pokémon :L. I have tried to launch other games and the same thing happens. The only time it does not happen is when I launch a game that does not require the Vizzed plugin, so the problem must be the plugin. Please help me if you can.

Are any Windows updates available for your computer? Which version of DirectX do you have installed? To find this tap the Windows key + R key and type dxdiag then tap Enter key to open the direct x diagnostic tool. The version will be listed at the bottom.

I think maybe you might have a process disabled. Try this: + R key then type msconfig and tap Enter. On the General tab (as seen below) have the 'load all device drivers and services' selected, click Apply, then OK, then click Restart on the next box that pops up.

Ok I did that and the problem still arises, I think it's because I don't have speakers is the problem. Since it says Direct Sound I would think that.

Well, if you go back to the direct x diagnostic tool, on the Sound tab it will say if there are any problems found. If there are none, you could try a different web browser.

So you're saying the problem obviously isn't with sound. Is the speed problem fixed with a different web browser?
