Final Fantasy VII- Possibly the
greatest RPG in existence. If you are a gamer, a man, or just plain
human... YOU KNOW THIS GAME. You probably love it, too. Lots of
people do. This is arguably the most popular RPG of the late 1990's.
A popular game loved by many. This is bringing me to my next
point... Now, we all know that the graphics... are well... not up to
par with today's, and can be easily remastered. I'm not talking
about a remake that has some of its aspects changed. I'm talking
about a full REMAKE. The only new additions that should be
implemented are the improved graphics, and voice acting. Like Final
Fantasy X. Now, many of us gamers from all around the world have all
begged SquareEnix for the remake. Do we have it? No. SquareEnix
have been putting off what we, the community, have wanted for... how
many years has it been? I honestly lost track. So have many others.
Many of the hardcore Final Fantasy VII fans have actually stopped
caring. I mean, we're not talking about me and my friend here. Not
a little nerd cult at the back of the cafeteria. I'm talking about
thousands of people. No, millions. Probably even hundreds upon
those millions. And these loyal fans have been quite patient with
Square Enix, waiting almost a decade for the production of this.
We're not just talking about Final Fantasy VII here. Remember Final
Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy IX? I mean, they weren't as popular
as Final Fantasy VII, but, hey, I would still buy all three. The
amount of money they would make would far surpass any of the “Man
Hours” they need but say they don't have. Take Final Fantasy
Versus for example. How long was that game advertised and do we have
it now? NO. SquareEnix has been postponing the thing that will
probably save them from their financial slump. I mean, the community
has been and still is craving this. Just think how many physical
copies of Final Fantasy VII are out there. My bet is not very many.
All the Final Fantasies should be remastered for the community. The
PS3 is a perfect console for this project.

I think all of the FF games in the main series should be remade for newer systems. Here are what I think they should do for each game.
FF1- They should have all of the content from the psp version and give the option of either playing it on the psp difficulty or nes difficulty.
FF2- They should make it where you don't have to grind as much.
FF3- They should put save points in dungeons.
FF4-They should use the graphics and voice acting in the ds version and have all the content from the psp version.
FF5 and 6- 3D remake with voice acting
FF7- Better Graphics and voice acting
FF8 and 9- Have not played them.
FF10- They should give us the option to skip cutscenes.

I have not played anything after 10, so I can't say anything.
