Sorry in advance if someone already wrote a thread on this, but I am a little confused from the Vizzed forum layout and I'm not quite sure how to navigate.. I found some answers but not all.

Anyway, on to the real question.

I'm having problems saving my configurations. Every time I restart Vizzed, my configurations don't save even though I go to MISC > SAVE CFG

I tried some suggestions of using different browsers (IE, FF, GC), clearing the cache, deleting the cfg folder to make a new one, and making the website accessible to firewall, ads, to no avail..

The game still works, and the saves are there, but it's just tedious to have to keep resetting the controls and video settings every time I log back on. Help would be much appreciated!

First off, hello there. Nice to meet you. Now, I'm not sure if this is relevant, I'm just going by my personal experience, but what system(s) is/are these issues with? And is it resetting the controls on the same game, or just that system?

That's very unusual. Normally, you don't even have to manually save your config. It does this automatically. I'm wondering if your browser security is blocking something from Vizzed.

Go to: C:ProgramDataVizzedVizzedRgrPluginUser-333382ZSNES

Do you have a file in that folder called zsnesw.cfg? What about zinput.cfg?

The latter is for your actual controls. These files can be edited in Notepad... but you hafta know what you're doing to set controls right this way or else you could break something.

I just wanna know if you even have the files at all first and then we can see about getting them to have the correct settings.

Also, you may be able to get help better in the RGR forum since that's designed for threads related to the Retro Game Room, so I'll move this thread for you.

My main browser is Google Chrome and I have adblock but it's disabled on Vizzed

I tried to get there but the closest thing I got to was C:Program FilesVizzedVizzed Retro Game Room and after that there is no VizzedRgRPlugin folder. I searched for the files too and my computer can't find them. Does this mean I should I try re-installing the plugin?

Thanks for the replies guys!

Lacertas : What specific configuration are you referring to? Control setup?

What version of windows are you running?

Have you tried the alternate emulator Mednafen? Using this emulator should fix any issues you are having with configuring your controls.

Sorry, I've been busy with work for a while.

The configurations I'm trying to change are video settings (size) and the controls.

I'm running Windows 7 on a 32-bit operating system.

Tried mednafen but when I press esc nothing happens? I can double click for the control configurations but that's pretty much it.

Lacertas : Mednafen uses the Double-Click method for setting the controls like many of the emulators on Vizzed.

The video size really can't be adjusted with many of the emulators. Mednafen supports full-screen by holding Alt+Enter with the game window active.

Lacertas : They can be saved. The problem you are having is some sort of bug that has something to do with your computers environment and the Visual Boy advanced emulator that is the default the Plugin uses for GBA games.

That is why I suggested you use Mednafen. That is also the emulator that supports full-screen like I mentioned before.
