Megaman X, This is a really awesome game. When I saw that the megaman formula had been changed on the SNES in megaman 7, I was a little skeptical of how good this game would be after I found how mediocre 7 was. Then I began the game and It just took my breath away on how good of a game it was. The graphics were great, the music is addictive, the gameplay is creative and it's overall a very enjoyable game to play. Where do I start with where this game gets it right? In the beginning, the only thing you have before you is not an intro or tutorial like in other SNES titles of that time, it's just the introduction stage with just the player standing there. This strategy can be very clever or very flawed depending on how it is executed, and its is executed very well. Like in the other megaman games, it uses clever aligning of enemies and obstacles to allow the player to teach his/herself to play instead of spoon feeding them information. The way that  It follows this idea throughout the rest of the game is very brilliant and it leads to some addictive gameplay with great bosses, music and power ups. The only flaw that I have with this game is that sometimes it may prove to be a little hard to complete with a collection of characters that attack you from all sides and bosses that must be hit in one specific place or else nothing happens. But, other than that, it's a really good game and one of my personal favs. Check it out if you get the chance.

GodotGuy2 : It's a good overall review of the game, but  let me give you a few advice on how to improve it.

- separate it in paragraphs, usually the ones where you evaluate the game (graphics, music, story, etc.) Repeat your grade and say why it was so good/bad. For example "The graphics were an incredible improvement from Mega Man 7"
- Don't be afraid to give details! My first review was less than 500 words, but now they average over 2000 because I tell readers in precise details why the game was good/bad.
- One thing I personally love is to compare the game I'm reviewing with other games from the series/from the system/from the era (depending of which one(s) apply). This way players can have an idea of how the game compares to others they might have played before.

Don't worry all reviewers get through that stage. Just keep going and you'll be an expert reviewer in no time.
