i just made a review then clicked submit and it says that i couldnt submit it because i am not an existing user or because i havent taken the newbie quiz.

obviously i am an existing user and i have done the newbie quiz.

this has happened twice now so whats going on?

I've had the same thing happen, and it seems to be a random glitch, and it doesn't happen often.

It might have been (and most likely was) that you were on the same page for too long, and so you were signed out temporarily due to inactivity.  When the page refreshed, the site recognized you as being active and logged in, and that's why you didn't have to sign back in.

Whenever I'm typing a long review, I try to type it up in notepad.  When you copy the notepad text over to your review in vizzed, you have to reformat it, but at least you don't lose all your work.  Also, there are always other glitches that might occur and so writing your review in notepad offers security in more than one regard.  I'm sorry that you lost your work, but I don't think this was a case of a glitch, I'm sorry to say.

The best safeguard against this is to type up your review (or any long post for that matter) in a separate document and just paste that into the post area. If it eats your post, you can just go back and paste it again.
