Well, hello everyone! It's Graye here. (I say that because me and my other-half share this account for right now. Until he has time to get his own!) I figured I'd say some things here about my fiancé and I's life. I don't really write on facebook and I do keep a personal journal on my computer but, this is something I'd like to take part of in the Adult community of vizzed, since I like it here. I also consider Vizzed a new Internet home , it's very comfortable and entertaining.

Anyway, on with it!

As a new "Father", I say this in quotations because I am a FtM in progress (non-surgical) which well, might be frowned upon in the Christian community but hey, let's not get into that!

I had my son October 13th of 2011; changed my whole life around! And, between then and now, I had been in a relationship with a wonderful man; and still am; and not one month ago, I purposed to him and he said yes! And now we both wear silver bands around our left ring fingers; so un-traditionally. Ahahaha. Good times! And, to add to the excitement, not even a week after our engagement, we received word from my fiance's father that he had bought us a HOUSE! To OWN! And, -not- only that, TONS, and I mean over 20 different kinds, of FREE furniture, accessories and wears with it! Including, but not limited to, washer, dryer, fridge/freezer, coffee and end tables, two beds, a couch and a love seat, a stove and dishes!

We feel like the most luckiest couple in the world right now! I had just received the keys today (after 2 and half looo~ng weeks of waiting) to the house! We are finishing up some packing tonight and tomorrow we're starting to move things in! Now, the only thing we're really waiting for is the AC unit and heating units to be fixed and we're all set! YAY!

Now, for my question to you all is: Have you ever had a moment in life, like we have, and just thought, WOW! This is a miracle, how did this happen? How did I get so lucky? Or, God has blessed me, truly! And if so, please, tell your story.

Thanks for listening.
Sincerely,
Graye.

First, congrats.

It's good you're happy and you found someone you can share your life with without judgement or fear.  You have a son and I hope you raise him in a loving, open family and he has all the support he needs.

Also, the ring finger on the left hand is where everyone puts their wedding rings.  That seems ultra-normal and regular.

Lastly, I've had "wow" moments in my life.  To me, they're a mix of good karma, positive attitude, and good luck in my life.  I'm a lucky guy but I'm a considerate and empathetic person who takes time to help other people and learn about them.  My happy life is not a reward but simply a bonus because of all the positive energy I spew out there for others.

I've been where you are.  I expect to be there again.

Good luck!

Thank you for your time and compliments and the congrats. I appreciated it. And I also believe in good karma but, not so much as luck. But, to each his own, right?

It took several years ( We had known each other for over 7 years as friends) but, yes, we finally came together and decided, yeah, we'll always and forever be by each other's side no matter the drama, blood, sweat and tear along the way. It's time!

Also, I meant about having -bands-, like male wedding bands, instead getting normal engagement rings. *Chuckles* And, may you always be in good faith and karma :] You seem like an awesome person! *E-hug*

Thanks again and good luck to you in your journey of life as well!

Well, first of all, you are one lucky dude. I wish your family well.It really makes one smile to read something like this.

As for myself, I have had those moments also but very briefly. My pessimist side says those were the only brief moments of actual happiness I will ever get and my optimists says they are only brief glimpses of good things yet to come. Time will tell. Right now I believe my glass is half full.

Brigand: Thank you for the reply, well wishes and the compliment! Fortune has smiled upon us for sure for this moment in life. And it seems to be proceeding! And Update: My fiancé has found a job! Thank the big guy/girl/being above! It's truly wonderful and I hope that this grace keeps coming back as my family and I try to do our most generous deeds to everyone else and the Earth! And best wishes to you, Brigand, keep your chin up.

Holy cats! That's an amazing stroke of luck! My dad helps me out with a lot, like he bought me a car and stuff, but nothing so big as my own house and furniture! That's fantastic!

I hope you and your soon to be husband find a way to enjoy the monotony of unpacking and get settled and cozy ASAP! This is super exciting to hear. Like Brigand said, things like this definitely bring the smile out of you. =)

As for that feeling, I'm kind of in that groove myself! And I can agree that it is one of the most freeing, reassuring feelings I've known. My husband just got out of the Army, so he, our 2 year old daughter, and I finally got to move back home after 2 long years of not being near any family or friends. I was able to get a job (the first I've had in a long time) and he's going to be starting school soon! Things seem too good to be true, so much so that sometimes I get a little panicky about that something's going to fall through because it's such a high point for me!

So, let's be sure to enjoy this feeling as long as we can, hmm? Life can't all be good stuff but damn, this will be great while it lasts! I hope you guys enjoy your new house and this new chapter to your life with your fiance and your son!
