First of all let me explain after street fighter alpha series was a success cap com would have a new competitor besides midway by the name of namco who made the original tekken  so this game was released to compete with tekken 1 . Anyway I'm done explaining Lets start this review

Graphics while there actually really good  in 3d there polygon's just like in mk4 and the original tekken game which inst surprising sense this was a direct competitor to the tekken series . All the sprites look good for the first game so graphics gets a 8 not bad for a first 3d fighting game,

Sound the sound is full of variety so you ll hear everything like shoryuken or ha do ken or spin kick. There are a lot of variety's. Soundtrack the soundtrack is just terrible for this type of game .Reason 1 the orchestration of the music is too calm . Reason 2 the music loops over and over again in attempt for a full music or soundtrack.so sound gets a 6 there is a variety but the music is really not that good

Addictiveness  the game is okay  ..  only problem the ai computer opponent would always do more damage than you and on top of that the ai computer opponent would always dodge or jump over your projectile and counter making playing this game nearly impossible to enjoy .  addictiveness gets a 3
Story blank again sorry the ai being too hard for me I could not get a ending or anything so if I give anything about a story it would be a lie.

Depth really not too much to expect while it does have lots of characters and special moves Its drawback is all characters were mainly clones of ryu and ken . And the combo engine would not work too well and that's what made street fighter a great game franchise. So depth gets a 5 the ai alone will make the game hard to beat.


Difficulty 10 while the controls were very responsive the main reason  I raised to it to a 10 was because the ai was incredibly difficult and on top of that there was a problem with the final boss akuma . The game used camera motion angles . Which is not bad for other games but bad  for this game. Let me explain why , During the final boss fight akuma would always do his little speed dash making the camera always rotating near his direction . For that main reason I could not finish the game nor akuma it was just too hard do to the  3d camera angles interfering during the match.

Overall  I dont recommend it  it was a good I dea but the game had too many clones the computer was too hard even on the easiest difficulty and the music just plain sucked .  I rather play tekken 3 or mk4 rather than this  . I actually thought this game was gonna be great but do to the ai being so hard  I just could not enjoy it I understand the need for  a newer challenge but this is not a way to do it .  Final ratings it gets a 6.8 a D
