   So I recently started playing Amnesia: The Dark Descent and I have already been freaked out multiple times in only one or two hours of playing.  That is a lot for me considering I play a lot of horror genre games.  Anyway, I also get really freaked out when I see a monster because I know I can't fight it or anything.  Even if the monster is walking across a hall and hasn't seen me, I still get very freaked out.  About twenty minutes ago when I was playing,  I walked up a staircase and a monster walks across the hallway in front of the staircase.  It didn't see me but I was stupid enough to book it back down the staircase and it chased me and died.  This freaked me out so much and I don't even know why.  I have seen a lot of monsters before but this one scared me the most for some reason.  I was actually yelling and it was really scary.  So what are your stories of times that you have been scared to death by Amnesia?

What you said is what makes Amnesia the best horror game ever. The fact you cant never fight back. You can either run or hide but there is nothing else you can do. That is what makes its so damn scary....
