I've not yet been in the full fledged military, but I plan on joining the Royal Canadian Air Force when I turn 18.

I'm in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets right now, and I have 4 years of training from them.

alexanyways : I knew making this a Armed Forces forum was a good idea... not just Army... 

But to stay on topic so I am not spamming my own forum, I have been in for 5 months now. I should get my first promotion here in a few weeks, hopefully.

I've been in for 15 years, although only 5 of that is Active Duty time with another 3 active Reserve time. I plan on getting into the National Guard when my Active time here is done in just a couple more months to finish off the other 5 years so I can retire at the young age of 37. But, I may for one or two more after that just to add a little bit more to my pension.

I was in the Marines for six years in the infantry as a machine gunner.  I served an M240G with a weapons platoon out of North Carolina.  I was FAPed to the military police for two more years and went to Beaufort, SC.

I'm out now.  I still live the lifestyle.
