I need some help. I am about to get a Nintendo 3DS soon and I need some
help on which game I should get first. I am currently conflicted on
weather or not I should get Kingdom Hearts 3D or Kid Icarus: Uprising. I could get KH3D
so I can catch up in the Kingdom Hearts plot and enjoy jumping around
like a ninja, but I don't know if the game is that long. I could also
get Kid Icarus because I like shooting games like StarFox 64 and Sin & Punishment,
plus it has funny dialogue, online multiplayer mode, and a lot of
weapons, but one issue would be the controls. I've heard that there was a
controversy over the game's control scheme and that it felt extremely
awkward, but from what I've seen it looks like it controls similar to Metroid Prime Hunters, a game I was able to control fine (although most of the game pales in comparison to real Metroid Prime with the exception of Hunters' awesome online deathmatch).

So, what do you think I should get? Kingdom Hearts 3D, or Kid Icarus: Uprising?

As you can see by my layout the obvious choice would be kid Icarus Uprising.

The multiplier is great. I played hours of it with my friends.

And it does have a lot of weapons. I like the beam claws the best.

And if you don't get a used one it comes with a stand which makes it easier to play and 6 ar cards.

And the controls you can change. The only thing is that your hand might hurt if you play it about an hour strait. I think it is worth it.

And Kingdom hearts has a demo that you can try in the e-shop.

I voted for Kid Icarus, as it is a game I ALMOST cannot wait to play. No, I actually have the game and all, but I am waiting until I finish playing another game (whether it is because I get bored of it or actually complete it, whichever comes first).

The Kingdom Hearts 3D does look nice and all, but I personally have not finished enough of the Kingdom Hearts games to go play it. Besides, Kid Icarus looks like a more fun game that does not require leveling up of any sort, or doing quests, but just a mix of shooter and platforming.

Those are MY reasons. But in truth? You should pick whatever you think you are in the mood for. You up for an RPG-ish game at this time, or a shooter-platformer type?

I've played them both and they're both fun, but I prefer the Kingdom Hearts game. It just felt like there was more to, and I'm a sucker for long games.

I think you should get paper Mario sticker star. Its an amazing game if you like Mario. But if you like fighting games go with kingdom hearts or kid icarus. Paper Mario is fighting but its an rpg though

Look,i think you're going way too far for a 3DS game...you should start slow and easy.
Between Kingdom Hearts DDD 3D and Kid Icarus : Uprising,i'd say it would be better for you to get Kid Icarus,because it has a very high replay value. The same guy who made Super Smash Bros Brawl made Kid Icarus : Uprising,so you can't go wrong with that one. Besides,the game can get as hard as you want it to get,as you can adjust the game's difficulty between 0.0 and 10.0.

Look...you should probably get Mario Kart 7. It's the most basic game for 3DS. Even if it's not your first game,you should make it a priority to buy Mario Kart 7,because it's that good. Just make sure to get the Fix they've released at the &Shop for that game.

Alright guys, I got the a 3DS with a pre installed Mario 3d Land on it, and apparently I had enough money to get two games, so I got both KH and KI:U. They are both really fun!
