After Reading the forum rules I guess I cant put up the Story I had written. (Too Bad. I was Ready To Type Too.)

Instead I'll just give you guys the gist of it.

Good Old Dark Link.
What is he?
Well the answer is rooted in the Game "Zelda 2 The Adventure of Link". Just... Not the way youd expect it to be.

My Teacher From high school made a discovery when seeing A Particular scene over and over again from her husband or kids playing a Zelda2 Game. The Scene Was Zelda Sleeping on an Altar.
The Connection She Made Was From Her Studies in College.
That was the tale of "Jason and the Golden Fleece."

The Year I was aware of this was 1998. I dismissed the idea thinking I would never come across such a notion again till years Later.
My teacher was not able to include the story of the King and the Fleece into the Lesson Plan Officially. So, She selected Different Tales From other works to cover that would make a Frankenstein version of the Classic myth. Again not many people should remember what they learned in high school.... Or So I thought.
Years Pass and I pop in a copy of "Rise of the Argonauts."
I pay no mind to it normally. Though every now and again the Choice options of how to conduct the character start sounding familiar.
Again I pay no mind to it. ... Till I start finishing the characters sentences.

What does this have to do with "Dark Link"?
Easy.
The Boss Characters From Zelda 2 are the Crew Of the Argo.
How did they Get such a terrible fate?
Didn't Rise of the Argonauts have a "Happy Ending?"
How Could This have happened?

!!!Spoiler Alert!!! (Don't Read. You might Learn Something.)

Jason Did Have A Happy Ending.
Till he tried to get Hitched the second time to Alcime.
Medea Killed Just about Everyone in a fit of Rage. (..Jason and Medea were an "Item" for a time.)
My memory is rough (Forgive the Plot holes if any. It's Been Years since I read "Medea".) but the Fleece does bring dead people back to life.
And Jason Still Had Access to it. If by some freak accident someone decided to bring him back for some strange task. Or He Escaped Death Some How. He might be compelled to Bring back his entire Crew. With one Exception. ("Atalanta." She might be closer.. "related" to the Zelda Franchise than I originally thought. Plus, I don't Recall her Passing away in the tale of Medea.)

So, To Sum Up...
Dark Link Is Jason.
Protecting his homeland and his castle. Waiting for the Spirit of Alcime to find her way home. Or Waiting for a mortal Vessel to Posses, so he can Leave his Castle and Find Her.

1000 years pass and One Day a lone Warrior with Fairy Ears and a Green Tunic Waltzes into his chamber with thoughts of bringing back a woman on an altar to Life.

That is Dark Link.
Or at least what I think of when I see Dark Link.
Any Thoughts?
Here's a Video Link For Fun. Enjoy.
Good Luck To All.
I'm Done. Stick a Fork in me.
Peace.
