    When I think of fun games I think of,Role-playing,First person shooter,and free roam games.That's what I think of fun games.                     I always wonder what games were like when I was a kid.Now I know,and very well Pacman and donkey Kong was fun.Now I'm addicted to games in the 21st century.                                                                                  Such asuper Mario Bros                                                                                    Far Cry 3                                                                                                Halo 4                                                                                             Black Ops 2             Have a great day,Kaleb   Post to this thread about what makes games fun?

I think it can be a large number of things. One thing that can make just about any game fun (so long as it at least has good controls) is a good story. Seriously, I played a game that I quite literally hated, simply because I was incredibly bored. I finally made it to one rather hilarious cutscene, and afterward decided to play it to the end just to see if there were any more scenes that funny. I was not disappointed, and ended up liking it because of the story and cutscenes. Today I have played both it and it's sequel, and plan to get the next installments one day. All because of a story (and laugh).

The game btw, is Tak. And the cutscene that hooked me was when you wake your mummified ancestor. I laugh everytime I see it. lol "And don't ever touch me again! mmhmmm" rofl
