I'm going to be honest now,this game is good. It is not a marvelous game,but it is...good. Die Hard Arcade is one of my childhood games,and i can proudly say that this game is a great beat'em'up. It picks what was great about beat'em'ups on that era,and mixes everything up. The result is the following : lots of fun,amazing co-op play,unexpected quick time events,and interesting bosses.

The game is very short,but it makes up for that with a variety of weapons and items that you can use to beat up the bad guys.
The story is the following : A group of terrorists have invaded the president's tower,and they want to rob the president's safe. They have also secretly kidnapped the president's daughter,and as a special operations police-man,it's your job to inflitrate the tower,wipe out all the terrorists,and rescue the president's daughter. My grip with this game,is,why is a single man being sent on an impossible mission? Of course,you can still play co-op,but then,what's the difference? It's 2 good guys versus 10000 bazillion bad guys. This is a game based on those over-exaggerated movies where 10 guys are shooting at the main protagonist,but they miss their 10 bazillion shots. I might say,those good guys have a lot of luck. Maybe way too much.

Ahem,sorry if i got a little carried away. The gameplay is simple,you can punch enemies in the face,kick them when they don't expect it,and throw them just for fun. By inputting different commands,you are capable of doing a variety of nifty moves that will allow you to knock down even the most tough villains. Now,you don't need to get your hands dirty. You can also pick up objects and throw them at enemies,or you can even pick up weapons and use them cowardly,weapons like the Pistol,the Rocket Launcher,and the Machine Gun. And,why not,even broomsticks and pepper spray cans!

In this game,there are a bazillion of ways you can kill a bad guy. And,when you're playing co-op,you can even perform some really awesome co-op moves on enemies. You can also carry additional ammunition with you for the next sections,but that is only possible if you have said weapon that uses that kind of ammunition.
There are also some quick time events that will keep you on your toes.When such an event happens,you have to input a certain command quickly,or else the end won't be very pretty. You might get blasted by a rocket launcher,run by a firetruck,or even smashed by an elevator! As there are bazillion of ways to kill,there also are bazillion of ways to die.

The bosses are pretty difficult...hey,what am i saying,the entire game is pretty difficult! You will die a lot in this game.It is nigh impossible to finish the game with a single coin,you will need much more than that. Maybe 5 coins,6,7...i'm dunno,it also depends a lot on whether you're playing co-op or not. If you're definitely playing co-op,then double the amount of coins! 11 coins,12,13...But,if you are really going to play co-op,then there is a surprise for you at the end. I won't spoil it .But you will only be able to access the secret ending if you're playing co-op,and not single-player.

Now that i have said everything i needed to say,it's time for you to save the president's daughter! Again! I say,that little girl always gets into trouble...(reference to Resident Evil 4...)
