Look,i'm not even sure myself how to start this review...Mischief Makers is so amazing,it's hard to describe how the game really is. Well,i'll try my best...you see, there is this professor that invented a super galactic robot called Marina, and since then,he is known for being a genious. But,since he is a genious, evil forces kidnap him,and they start to force him to work for them. Then it's time for Marina to rescue the Professor, and how does she do that?
The answer is simple. She does so by Grabbing opponents,Shaking them, then finally Throwing them into other enemies. Yeah, that's right. If someone throws a missile at you, throw it back! If someone is being a jerk and guarding all the time, shake them! If they don't stand still when you want them to,grab them!
It's a simple game,it's easy to learn how to play, but it's devilish to master it. There are Golden Gems all over the place, and if you want to get 100%,you will have to find a way to get all of them. The graphics are nice and full of color, they give the impression that you're playing somenthing like Yoshi's Story. The bosses are super fun to fight, and some of them are especially challenging.
The soundtrack is refreshing, and quite exciting at times. It gives you the feeling that you're going into unknown enemy territory, and that you're the world's last hope. Your character also has boosters that can give you an edge when you want to move faster, and they allow you to keep suspended in the air for a certain amount of time. There are many stages in this game, and they all feel very different. Normally,a world has a sub-boss and a boss that you must defeat in order to advance to the next world.and there are many secrets that you can uncover in stages.
The story then rapidly changes to somenthing much more heroic and full of justice. Other unforgettable characters appear, and in the end,you find out who was the mastermind behind everything. But even after you think the game is over,it is quite not. It's a game for both begginers and experts alike, and it will make you laugh. Try it,if just for the sake of hearing the Professor screaming Marina's name after being punished for being too naughty.
