Mortal Combat was different from other fighting games from its era. It had realistic looking characters instead of cartoony looking ones. It had huge amounts of blood, and a dark theme that other fighters just did not have. I am going to review the Genesis version of Mortal Combat.

GAMEPLAY B+: The controls might not be the most responsive, but the fighting action is fast paced. As you fight your opponents you will be satisfied with the huge amounts of blood flying everywhere. Unfortunately you have to do a parental code in order to have blood. The best controller to use for this game is the 6 button controller. If you use the traditional 3 button controller. You would have to use the start button to block. Mortal Combat has good gameplay that will be remembered.

GRAPHICS A: The realistic characters and scenery really pushed the Genesis's limits. The animations are smooth and there's no slow down. That's what the Genesis was known for. There has been better graphics in the future games, but this is the first and the graphics looked pretty good for the time.

SOUND A-: The Genesis had poor audio capabilities compared to systems like the SNES. This game does everything to make you not think that. The music is awesome and it really matches the theme of the game. The Genesis couldn't handle voice synthesis very well, but this games voice synthesis is pretty good.

ADDICTIVENESS A: This game is pretty addicting. The amount of opponents you have to fight make the game addicting. Also the games satisfaction limit is high. So you will want to play this game for a while.

DEPTH B-: The game is somewhat short. I beat all the people in nearly half an hour, and I am not good at this game. There are quite a bit of enemies to face and there are plenty of difficulty settings. Still this game is not as huge as it should have been.

DIFFICULTY MEDIUM EASY: I thought this game wasn't very hard. It took me a little while to get good, but once I did. The game was a piece of cake.

OVERALL RATING B+

Nice job  couldn't have done a review better myself so I'm going to rate this review a 4/5  keep up the good work and the music of this game is very epic and well done  I'm glad the genesis port never used the arcade audio no offense but  always using the same audio track over and over again like the snes port is sort of lazy

Brilliant review!
Keep up the good work,

But I am pretty positive that the upcoming reviews section wasn't needed. Mabye you could keep them to your profile bio?
Just saying, anyway good work.
