Basically any show / anime I will accept, just as long as it's something that is somewhat popular (or use to be).

You pick the show and you are also responsible for downloading the episodes from a separate source (if you've already got them on your computer, great). Preferably gaming cartoons or retro cartoons but as I said, almost anything works.

Quality of the episodes should be Good - Great, and file size should be between 150 - 200 MB. Get-Your-Rom.com has an account with MegaVideo.com and you'll use our account to upload your videos.

Get-your-rom.com plans to offer a video section on the site where people can watch TV shows online and also be able to download them.

Anyone up for it will get 100 Viz per episode and the minimum amount of episodes you must upload is a complete season. Please post in this thread what show you want to do and I will hook you up to the login info so you can upload your stuff.

im assuming you will also want english shows, no subtitles?
also what format should the episodes be in, ie avi, mpg, wmv, mkv...
i have all of Zoids CC and Zoids NC, i think that was popular, but you tell me
i just need possibly need a program to convert them and shrink them under 200mb.

Never heard of Zoids but if you think it's popular enough.

AVI, MPG or WMV work, doesn't matter but if I had to pick one, than maybe WMV or MPG.

I'd prefer english shows.

I have Reboot, Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT all in english. All good quality episodes. All are between 200 and 250 mb.

Oh, file formats are a little strange though. Dragonball is all in .mkv and GT is in .ogm. Reboot and Z are .avi.

Let me know what you would like. 534 episodes in total....

I'm also pretty willing to find and upload other stuff if people have requests of things they would like to see.

If your ripping them off DVD, then DVDx is the best freeware program (in my opinion). Then you can use Windows Movie Maker to shrink them to whatever size you want.

I quickly tested both .mkv and .ogm and they both work with windows media player and media player classic.... so anyone should be able to play these movies and I'd really rather not have to spend a lot of time converting them.

If we're doing downloads can we support CCCP as the default playback choice then?

Well, I can upload One Piece Funimation English Dub. I can get my hands on the 1st 13 episodes.

i agree 100% but this is streaming video i do believe so we dont get much say in the matter.

do you know if WMM can shrink .mkv?

He did say that people should also be able to download them, so unless we use WMV, which will be s*** quality or huge files, then we better support CCCP as default playback choice.

If we could use mp4 files, then it'd be good. MP4 is small, but great quality.

I would upload a ton of the tv shows stored on my computer but my internet only would allow one upload a day and that would probably be too little. Should I try?

nah, don't worry about it wired.... it'd take you a month to upload a season at that rate....

and I really really don't want to convert video.... I hate doing it. the stuff I have should work just fine!

Geeo: Converting video can mean MUCH quicker uploads. The larger the file, the longer the upload. MP4 is small, so that's a quick upload. MKV is also small.

Ok I've changed my mind on what shows I'm gonna allow, I'm only going to allow shows that are either based on video games or have video games based on them.

fair enough.... so when I can upload dragonball? there are tons of games based off of those shows...

there are a fair few zoids games across the consoles too so thats still ok too
i also have kirby, but its in japanese with subtitles, so i dont know if you want that one, i couldnt find it in english when i looked though i might try looking again...
