Well, I  am back. I don't know when and for how long I will be on for the next 5 to 7 weeks, seeing as I how I still have to go through 88M (Motor Transportation Operator) AIT.

Um... I not really sure what to say about how Basic Training was... I think it would just be easier if people asked me what they wanted to know, and I could answer it like that...

Can;t think of much else to say, other than...

Physically? Probably about a 7 or a 8, solely for the fact that I retake my final PT test because I failed it by one flipping push-up.

As for what we had to do, we had to do the gas chamber, FTX (field training exercise), trained on the M16A2, M240B, M249 SAW, and the M203 40MM Grenade Launcher. Did some land Nav... and a few other things.

Land Navigation is where they give you a map, compass, and degrees and distances, and you have to find the point in the field, and write it on a piece of paper... but yeah, Ktanaqui explained it alright.

As for the gas chamber... what they basically do is put you in this room with your gas mask on... it's not active in the "Cold Room"... just some remnants form the hot room. Then, you go in the "Hot Room", and when it's your turn, you take your mask off. You have to look at the person in charge, and keep your eyes open (they use an irritant gas... not a chemical or some other kind of gas). Then, you leave the room and you're done. If there is anything else about that, just ask, and I will tell you if I know. If not, just look it up.
