Pokémon Yellow Version:
Pokémon Yellow is a slightly addictive game that has a lot of grinding and Pokémon. The game has a balanced game play easy for RPG begginers. Not the most eye pleasing Pokémon, but that still doesn't mean that it's not a good game. The thing that makes a good game is the plot and how addicted you get. The most important is the mechanic, but that's enough about what the game mechanics that are in the game.

The plot revolves around that you are a teenage boy that gets a once of a life time decision to get a Pokémon from the famous Professor Oak, a world renowned professor that studies Pokémon. The main character that you play as is named Red and before you ask yourself "wait, isn't Ash supposed to be in yellow?" Well that's an onset mistake made by fans. Red is still the main hero just like in Pokémon Red  and Blue Version. When you get the Pokedex you make the choice of completing it and that takes a lot of time and work considering you can't even get the Legendary Pokémon Mew without activating a glitch in the games systems, but you are not the only one filling out the pokedex.

You're rival named Blue is the grandson of Professor Oak. Also he's the other person that got a Pokedex and wants to fill it up all the way. He is an over achiever to. He had 50 Pokémon by the second gym and that was incredible because you couldn't even get that many Pokémon at that time in the story yet. He has the opposite typed Pokémon than yours through out the story. When you get to the Elite Four the champion is guess who, Blue, but your always a step ahead of him most of the time. Just don't expect to win every battle against him.

Team Rocket also has a role in the game. They are the evil Pokémon poachers that steal other peoples Pokémon for their own uses. The big boss Giovanni is the leader and creator of the Rocket team. His Pokémon are very strong and he doesn't care who he fights as long as they're just strong. In the anime he tells Jessie and James to capture Pikachu. That means that he has ranked Rocket members witch means that Jesse and James are at the bottom of the food chain.

To be honest, I would rate this review, OK. Maybe not just explain the whole game, but explain the sound and the graphics. But I would rate this game a 8.4
