Finally, the game is in the RGR, so... "It's reviewing time!" -
Edited quote originated from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III" movie. Original quote is "It's hammer time!"
Sonic, the classic example of how Sega fans were buying sonic games at the time... But if you try mixing the game with some corrupted graphics, level crashes, and make tons of issues in it, you got yourself a shame hack.
The name of this hack... Sonic Green Snake.. The hack of shame that is so bad that it is not only funny, but thrown a program named CORRUPT with broken graphics, uncompletable levels, levels crashing after beating, bosses not spawning, and overworlds that crash the game when completing certain levels like Spring Yard act 2, Final Battle act 1, and other levels that I haven't tested yet due to being very busy. (I already got the max score, 9999990.)
Instructions: ... Not very much, since the hack is screwed up. You are obviously Sonic. The title shows green snake sonic, but in the game, dark blue sonic. There is a character select you can go into in the overworld which is this: Normal Sonic, Tails (Screwed up sprite positions), "Green Snake" Sonic, and get ready for this... *drumroll* Gray Sonic. Erm, I call him Crazy sonic because he accelerates instantly and runs almost 3 times faster than normal sonic.

Some textures, backgrounds, and sprites are glitchy in some spots. Tails' sprites are the prime example of this. Tails' position sprite is far off from the collision of the character itself. Some sprites glitch and show Sonic with tails' makeup with the orange skin.

This hack uses lots of music already used, like the stage selection room in Sonic 1 SAGE 2010/Sonic: The Omochao Edition, the Game Over music in Sonic 3/Sonic & Knuckles/Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but other tracks include Zone 1 Act 1 music in Sonic 3D Blast and others that I cant think of. No sonic game by Sega would ever be this bad.
Addictiveness/Gameplay: 2/10
Grade: F-
The regular game has only 1 cutscene at the end of the game, but this hack uses cutscenes which rips off Selbi's Sonic Erazor hack. Same with the special stage. There are various hacks that are stolen to give you the hack of shame. :| The game does seem fun until you find game crashes whenever you beat certain levels, also that gray sonic is super fast and almost impossible to control. Some even include crashes from invalid overworlds when fixing the crash in certain levels, like Spring Yard Zone act 2, and Final Battle Zone act 1. It's best to fix the crash in a level with a Gens emulator, turbo button B, and frameskip 8 on Gens 11 (My Gens emulator version).
Difficulty: 9/10

Unlike Sonic 1's Labyrinth Zone 3 that always got me, the game's difficulty is because of some levels not being completable, level layouts being confusing, some levels having hidden floors/glitches, and that gray sonic (I call him crazy sonic) is too fast at times and can cause nothing but problems going even too fast.
Story: 1/10
Grade: F-
Instead of the classic story of Dr. robotnik turning enemies into robots and Sonic collecting the emeralds to stop him, all it shows is a cutscene rip off with sonic in Hot Summer Zone running before he eventually goes into a large ring. It then gives you pointless text, and that's it.

Not very much to say, you can play any level in any order, but around half the levels in the game are completable, but a few are completable without any crashes. The only zone that can be fully completable is Fudge Hill Zone. When act 3 crashes the game, just mash the B button until it goes away.
Overall: 5.5

That's why the game is the 2012 hack of shame, it is screwed up with glitches, broken sprite placement, levels crashing, 1 act not accessible, uncompletable levels, then they glitch the graphics, and has several bugs in it. It was the second attempt and final to make the hack better. Only a little better. I only recommend it if you dare to play it. Go to SSRG for the Green Snake hack download.
(Note that only one swear is in it, and that is the second screen not counting the Sega screen.)
