Oh, if he's claiming to do it seriously, I'm not interested.  If he's doing it for fun, sure, that might be amusing.  LOL  I don't believe in divining through any means but the Christian God though.

I'm moving this thread to the Health / Fitness / Science forum because I believe that sleep is an important part of health!

Actually I do think there is a thread like this.  Jlh made a thread about weird dreams and interpreting them.  I think it would be best for the local mods to look at the two and compare them for differences.

awww but I wasn't talking about interpreting dreams...Just wanted to hear about weird ones!  Or weird reoccurances.  for example, I often dream of same locations, but they aren't real locations.

If that is the case, then the local mods wouldn't close this thread.  They would render the two incompatiable.  Weird dreams are common.  I had a weird dream and I have no reason to have a dream like this.  It is was a crazy dream that's all i can say. LOL

In my dreams, I'm almost always running away from something or some person, or some situation.  And a lot of those times, I run up this really steep hill covered in vines and trees and tall weeds.  I always have to take a run at it to get up it, and for some reason I'm always the only person that can make it up that wall.  LOL

I've had some really weird dreams in my day, but I recently had a dream that was quite weird that I remembered pretty vividly, which is fun. I was in some big fancy building and inside it was set up like a Chinese buffet. All kinds of food under a lamp with plates set up so you could grab what you wanted. But it was all being overheated and burning and it all looked like mush. It was devastating. I was so upset to see all that food being wasted and poorly prepared that I wanted to cry. So I walked over to my older brother to complain and he handed me a Gatorade bottle filled with his urine and told me to get rid of it for him.

I told him I wouldn't do it, but he offered me a Viagra. I'm not sure why that convinced me but it did. I was so excited that I popped the pill right into my mouth. I immediately regretted that decision and decided I wouldn't swallow it. So I walked around for a bit with the pill in my mouth and a bottle of my brother's urine in my hand. I had to get rid of that bottle, so I walked out to the front of the building to dump it in the grass. At the doors stood a man, who I immediately recognized as a security guard for some reason (he wasn't dressed like it). I noticed he was old and figured he could use the pill more than I could, so I spit it out into my hand. But before I could offer him the pill, I noticed a cop standing nearby and I was afraid that what I was doing might be illegal. So of course I did the only logical thing anyone would do in my situation, and I offered the pill to the cop. He thanked me and walked away. And then nothing of interest happened until I woke up.

I have strange dreams all the time... sometimes I just see random weird colors like I was inside of a kaleidoscope or something... other times, it's just a series of random stories that transist without any logic tying them together. It's like if you just took random clips from completely different shows and tossed them together without segues.

Anyone ever lucid dream? I've become aware I was dreaming within my crazy dreams a couple times but my brain tries to rebel every time that happens. I basically begin to hear really loud ringing in my ears and then colors start swirling around in circles until I'm forced to wake up.

The strangest that I ever dreamt up have to be about two months ago. The dream was about my family. Me and my older sister was walking to the store to get some food, but at the same time there were zombies. I ditch my sister and when I got home I saw here and she have crazy eyes then she bit me. My mom was in the house laughing at me then I woke up.

Singelli : Wow, that's so weird... I never heard of anyone losing the ability. For most people that just can't unless they train themselves to be able to do it and then once they learn how, they retain the ability. Of course, some people just do it accidentally because something clicks that what's going on can't be real. That's more my case when it does happen. I never try to do anything. I just notice something off about the dream and then it becomes blatantly obvious that I'm dreaming. Once I make that realization, I'm in full control of my own actions... but if I try to manipulate anything else inside the dream that's when I get that annoying ear ringing and my brain trying to rebel and destroy the dream.

Though one time it worked a little differently because my brain instead kept trying to subdue me once I found out I was dreaming. I was in my parents house that I haven't lived in in years... so that's how I figured out it wasn't real. After a brief attempt to explore my dream world, I suddenly "wake up"... or at least I THOUGHT I was waking up. My brain tried to trick me into believing this was the case. However the bed I woke up in wasn't my own and it took me all of 5 seconds to realize this and that I was still in the dream. Once that happened, it looped again to me waking up, this time in the RIGHT location. I was more convinced this time around, so I went to go tell my friend about it. Thing is... this friend was mysteriously already in my house... which doesn't make sense so I figure it out AGAIN and yet again, I got warped back to waking up. This went on for a few more cycles before my brain gave up and just tried its "destroy the dream" tactic with the ears ringing and stuff. Really annoying.

Crazy Li :  Yes, that sounds....quite annoying!  LOL

And yeah, I have been soooo sad to lose the ability. I dont know how to get it back, but I wish I could.  It seems that I remember my dreams better though if I have slept well.  So maybe I've just got to establish a regular sleeping pattern?  I doubt that's all it would take though because I haven't been able to be aware of my dreams or control them for six or seven years now.

lord :  That is...very strange.  LOL  The white room with leeches, I mean.  That would kind of freak me out...ew!

As for the text dreams...I don't think that's all that weird.  XD  Especially if you like to role play like I do.  I've had those kinds of dreams, though not very often.

Singelli : ha i rember one time i controlled my dream it was Halloween and there was a man flying in the air i guess that sorta ticked on me it was a dream so my candy bag was not filled i reached in and guess what out come a lollipop the size of my candy bag!i felt like i had mary popins bag it was so cool (i also pulled out a kitten and a cute little dog) this was like 2 years ago so my favorite super hero was nsuper man i closed my eyes imagend he was there and he was!


p.s. did you know you have a dream every night but you almost always forget them so its almost like you dont have dreams.
