IMPORTANT: This review does not have the snapshots I promised in my reviews, because Atari removed this game from the website. I had to play it on a different site which is an extremely rare occasion.

This game is very different then many Atari 2600 games. You shoot robots, go maze to maze, and you escape the evil auto. Which looks like a bouncing happy face. 

GAMEPLAY B+: The simple timeless gameplay of this game is a really great thing. Anyone can easily figure out how to play this game. The bad part however is how the freaking walls kill you the moment you touch them, that's just part of the action though.

GRAPHICS B-: I know this game was on an Atari 2600 but the graphics are nothing spectacular even for an Atari game. However they are simple and easy on the eyes and they actually don't look that bad.

SOUND C+: I know it's but a while since I reviewed an Atari 2600 game, but the sound effects are pretty simple, mainly just a few buzzes and beeps. The original and the 5200 version had voice samples but those are far more advanced then the 2600.

ADDICTIVENESS B: This game is quite fun I enjoyed playing it. However Berzerk is only really fun when you are aiming for score. After all, the mazes are INFINITE. 

DEPTH B+: The amount of mazes in the game are infinite and randomly generated so its kind of like a whole new experience each time.

DIFFICULTY HARD: One hit and your dead. Only extreme gamers will find this game easy. You only have two lives, so 2 hits and game over.

Its the 30th anniversary of the Atari 5200 and the Colecovision so I am going to put some reviews on hold so I can review some 5200 and Colecovision games

It really sound like a tough game to stay alive in. Also great review, but I am not a huge fan of the Atari system.

Wow, an IN-DEPTH 2600 Review? Man, I thought I'd never see one of these! I love berzerk, I really think that someone should make a HD Remake of it. Evil Otto would benefit from it.
