Hello, I've just recently registered so I could enjoy my old favourite games "super Mario rpg" and " earthbound" both games work great after I downloaded the plug in however the games start up in a small window that does not have a maximize icon and I would love to play in full screen but as soon as I alt+ Enter to full screen the game stops responding to my game pad. I'm wondering if there is a different way to enter full screen or if I need to configure something. Any ideas much appreciated, thanks. Mattaus4uck

Welcome to Vizzed.

I'm sure you have discovered the Retro Game Room by now in the top left corner.

That is where you can find most of the greatest games ever created (in my opinion).

You will be pleased to know that there is a new feature on this site called Netplay.

Here is the announcement regarding Netplay.

RGR Plugin 1.91 Available Now! = Netplay, New Systems, Features and MAME/Arcade

The RGR Plugin 1.91 has been in development for almost 3 months but after 100s of hours and $1000 of investments, it is now ready for download:

http://www.vizzed.co/VizzedRgrPlugin-v1.91.msi

And here's a mirror link in case the above link doesn't fully download:

https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/retro/VizzedRGRPlugin/Installer/VizzedRgrPlugin-v1.91.msi

Netplay

This is the most anticipated feature ever! You can now play various games with others online. You can view all sessions on this page:

https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/netplaysessions.php

You must have a powerlevel of Normal User and up to join sessions, or you must buy the 'Netplay' item from the itemshop using Viz. For more information on powerlevels, go here:

https://www.vizzed.com/boards/controlpanel.php?category=help&help=usernamesandpowerlevels

In order to create netplay sessions, you need to own the 'Netplay' item for 25,000 Viz which you can get here:

https://www.vizzed.com/boards/store.php?action=shops&types=accessory

Supported Systems: Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Nintendo, Turbo Grafx and a few others.

MAME/Arcade Games

Arcade games have been among the most requested games and we're currently in the process of making them available. Since they're in the process of being worked on, they'll only be available to staff members and beta testers. However, if you want to become a beta tester so that you can get early access to the Arcade games, you can buy the 'Beta Test Ticket' from the item shop for 10,000 Viz here:

https://www.vizzed.com/boards/store.php?action=shops&types=accessory

Once you have that, you can test out the Arcade games. Probably around 30% of the Arcade games currently don't work but they're all free of Viz during the testing phase. Also, all of the Arcade games still need to be renamed. You can find the Arcade games here:

https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/index.php?system=mame

Since most of you are now feeling pretty disappointed that you have to either save up Viz or wait a few months to get access to the Arcade games, I've decided to make 8 games available right away:

Small games: Donkey Kong, Marble Madness, Frogger, Flicky

Big games: Metal Slug 5, King of Fighters 2000, Cruisn USA, G.I.Joe

New Systems

Atari 5200 has been added to the Retro Game Room. Apple II and Commodore 64 games are now compatible with the RGR Plugin, they were already available using Java emulators but now they can be played using the RGR Plugin which means better playability, better compatibility and more features. You can find Atari 5200 games here:

https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/index.php?system=a5200

If you have any questions, feedback or problems with the new plugin, please reply to this thread:

https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=45575

You can achieve Normal Member status by posting 10 posts. You will be deemed a Member the following day.

You can also access Netplay through a subtitle in the Retro Game Room. Enjoy.

To answer your question, as far as I know, maximizing the window is about the best you can get, unless I was wrongly informed. Also, some games are rather dark. I was unable to figure out how to brighten them aside from messing with my screens brightness and contrast. Just a heads up when you play games like Ocarina of Time (Zelda) and Mario Kart 64 (Bowser's Castle)

The video resolution can be set in the menu accessed with Esc key.

Go to Config > Video.

Depending on the size of your monitor, most likely the resolution should be set at 1024x768 DS F.

Thank you very much, I did have to configure > video and set to 1024x768 DS F. Apologies if this was a frequently asked question but I didn't see anything posted that was directly related to my now solved dilemma. Thanks again, it's great to be back to playing these epic classics.
