It was a fun game and one of the best fighters on the dreamcast. I wouldn't buy it on Live though as apsham stated. I mean I can just play 2,3, or 4 if I want. The gameplay didn't change much over the years, just small changes and adaptations of things. I was a little displeased with 4's create a character since you can only use premade character's styles. You could also only use the past characters styles as well not the final or any of the Star Wars characters.

Overall it's still a great series it's in the number 2 slot on my favorite fighters only under Guilty Gear.

Hands down the greatest fighting game in the past few years. The entire Sword Master Mode was a great touch. A bunch of characters and weapons including joke ones. Extended backstory and EXCLUSIVE characters. Where else will Tekken's Yoshimitsu and Nintendo's Link fight!

I think sc2 and sc3 are both great. It's one of my favorite fighting games, aside from the immortal Mortal Kombat series. The costumes are slightly better in sc3 than in sc2 though. However, if I had to choose, I'd have to say sc2.
